Dragon Ball Z: The Return of Cooler (ドラゴンボールＺゼット 激げき突とつ！！１００億おくパワーの戦せん士したち Doragon Bōru Zetto Gekitotsu!! Hyaku-Oku Pawā no Senshi-tachi, lit. Dragon Ball Z: Clash!! 10,000,000,000 Powerful Warriors), also known as Dragon Ball Z: Fight! 10 Billion Power Warriors, is the ninth Dragon Ball film and the sixth under the Dragon Ball Z banner, originally released in Japan on March 7, 1992. It was released on VHS and DVD in the United States in August 2002, and also had a limited theatrical run (as part of a double-feature with the U.S. premiere of Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn) on March 17, 2006. These were the first Dragon Ball related movies to receive a theatrical release in the United States. This film is a direct sequel to the fifth movie, Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge, and the first appearance of Vegeta in a movie.

很久以前在宇宙坟场中的一电脑芯片因长时间的能量作用而增强了自身的能量，之后它吸收宇宙间的物质作为能量渐渐形成为巨大的机械星球比高星。垂死的古拉飘流到这个星球并与主电脑融合支配了这个星球而自己则变成了金属古拉。比高星想吃掉新那美克星，所以那美克星人找悟空帮忙。金属古拉靠比高星的高科技不断复制，所以孙悟空和贝吉塔都打不倒他，后来能变超赛的两人同时被捉并被比高星吸收了能量，但超级赛亚人的能量太多，超过比高星能量储存的上限并导致部分机器损坏。最后悟空用一个能量球消灭了金属古拉的核心。

Son Goku 孙悟空
(日语：孫悟空；英语：Son Goku)，是鸟山明的原作漫画《龙珠》及其改编原作系列中登场的虚构角色与主角，名字来自中国古典神怪小说《西游记》的“孙悟空”。“孙”是姓，“悟空”是名。由养育之父孙悟饭授予，其赛亚人本名为:卡卡罗特。其他纯种赛亚人直接称之为卡卡罗特。名字的由来是从红萝卜（胡萝卜）。与他的爱妻琪琪一起生下的长子的名字，是当年拉拔悟空长大的爷爷，孙悟饭的名字。 Son Goku is a Saiyan raised on Earth and the overall main protagonist of the Dragon Ball series. He is Bardock and Gine's youngest son, the husband of Chi-Chi, and the father of Gohan and Goten. Son Goku is a fictional character and the main protagonist of the Dragon Ball manga series created by Akira Toriyama. He is based on Sun Wukong (known as Son Goku in Japan and Monkey King in the West), a main character of the classic 16th-century Chinese novel Journey to the West, combined with influences from the Hong Kong martial arts films of Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee. Originally sent to Earth by his parents as an infant, Kakarot was adopted by Grandpa Gohan and given the name Son Goku. A head injury at an early age altered Goku's memory, ridding him of his initial destructive nature and allowing him to grow up to become one of Earth's greatest defenders. Goku constantly strives and trains to be the greatest warrior possible, which has kept the Earth and the universe safe from destruction multiple times.
Son Gohan 孙悟饭

Son Gohan (孫そん悟ご飯はん Son Gohan, Japanese pronunciation: [sõŋgohãɴ]) is a half-breed Saiyan and one of the most prominent characters in the Dragon Ball series. He is the elder son of the series' primary protagonist Goku and his wife Chi-Chi, the older brother of Goten, the husband of Videl and father to Pan. He is named after Goku's adoptive grandfather, Gohan. Unlike his father, Gohan is a brilliant scholar and lacks a passion for fighting, preferring to do so only when his loved ones are threatened. Nevertheless, he spends much of his life participating in the defense of Earth, often helping to turn the tides when the dormant depths of his power are unleashed
Piccolo 比克
比克（日文名：ピッコロ、英文名：Piccolo），日本漫画《龙珠》及其衍生作品中的角色，Z战士之一。由古川登志夫配音。来自那美克星的那美克星人，曾是企图征服世界的邪恶大魔王，将孙悟空视为宿敌，但随着孙悟空、孙悟饭父子对其之影响，内心逐渐产生改变，最终改邪归正并保护地球。 Piccolo (ピッコロ, Pikkoro) is the spawn of King Piccolo, created to get revenge on Goku in the wake of his death, and subsequently assumes the role as the "evil half" of Kami. However, after being narrowly defeated by Goku, he must team up with him and his friends when opposing the invading Saiyans, including training Goku's son Gohan. He is later revealed to be a Namekian—a green-skinned, four-fingered, hairless humanoid species who created the series' titular Dragon Balls. He dies sacrificing himself to protect Gohan during the fight against the Saiyan Nappa, and trains in the afterlife under King Kai before being wished back to life by the Namekian Dragon Balls. While he temporarily maintains the partnership during the fights with Frieza and the Androids, by the time of the Cell and Majin Buu arcs he accepts the fact they are allies.
Krillin 克林
(クリリン；英语：Kuririn)，是日本漫画作家鸟山明在集英社《周刊少年Jump》连载的《龙珠》虚构角色。一颗光头，没有鼻子，矮小的身材，克林是一个造型简单的人物。作者的创作初衷似乎在设计一位标准的小和尚，向功夫的泰斗少林寺致敬。初登场的克林是悟空在龟仙流的同门师兄弟，也可以说是竞争对手。当时他给人的印象是坏坏的，老是想歪点子赢过悟空，而且还有些好色，和师傅龟仙人臭味相投。不过随着故事的发展，克林的性格逐渐变得和悟空一样正义而单纯（据声优推测是受悟空的影响吧），并且是在爱情上专一的好男人。他被弗利萨杀害时，悟空极度愤怒而变身为传说中的战士超级赛亚人。他在爱情上的付出也有所回报，娶到了心目中的女神18号。雅木茶则认为克林是最强的地球人。以上种种，均可见作者对这一角色之青睐。 Krillin (クリリン, Kuririn) is a bald martial artist and one of Goku's best friends and classmates. He and Goku are under the tutelage of Master Roshi; initially his rival but later a friend, and a loyal companion in adventures thereafter. He is killed by King Piccolo's spawn Tambourine, but is later revived by Shenron. After the fight with the Saiyans, he travels to Planet Namek, where he is killed by Frieza. After being brought back to life again by the Namekian Dragon Balls, he helps out during the Android and Cell arcs. He is married to Android 18 and has a daughter, Marron (マーロン, Māron).
Vegeta 贝吉塔
贝吉塔，日本经典漫画及改编动画《龙珠》系列中的主要角色。是战斗民族赛亚人的王子，拥有高傲的自尊心。贝吉塔行星被弗利萨毁灭后为弗利萨效力。初登场时是个侵略地球的反派角色，后被孙悟空（赛亚人卡卡罗特）等人打败。弗利萨一战结束后听说悟空变身成为超级赛亚人，于是决定以超越孙悟空为目标，一直留在地球上努力修行。多次和悟空保护地球。在人造人篇中学会了超级赛亚人变身，起初只是想着超越悟空才待在地球，后来有了家人后慢慢的爱上了这颗星球，在与魔人布欧一战中为了保护地球决定与布欧同归于尽。后复活为悟空制造元气弹争取时间，击败布欧后仍为了超越悟空而努力修行。
Vegeta (ベジータ Bejīta), more specifically Vegeta IV (ベジータ四世 Bejīta Yonsei), recognized as Prince Vegeta (ベジータ王子 Bejīta Ōji), is the prince of the fallen Saiyan race and the husband of Bulma, the father of Trunks and Bulla, the eldest son of King Vegeta, as well as one of the main characters of the Dragon Ball series. Regal, egotistical, and full of pride, Vegeta was once a ruthless, cold-blooded warrior and outright killer, but later abandoned his position in the Frieza Force for a peaceful life on Earth. He would repeatedly fight alongside Universe 7's most powerful warriors in order to protect Earth and his family, as well as to surpass Goku in power. Vegeta's strong character development has received high praise and is regarded as the biggest in the series. He initially debuted as the main antagonist of the Vegeta Saga, but progressed into a more anti-heroic tritagonist role for the rest of Dragon Ball Z. Since the Majin Buu Saga and going into Dragon Ball Super, Vegeta has been the main deuteragonist/secondary protagonist behind Goku.
Master Roshi 龟仙人

He trained Grandpa Gohan and Ox-King, Goku, and Krillin, and a few others. He is often accompanied by his talking sea turtle companion, Umigame (ウミガメ, "Sea Turtle"), who often tries to point out his flaws. Master Roshi was trained by Master Mutaito (武泰斗), who also trained his cohorts-turned-rival Tsuru-Sen'nin (鶴仙人, "Crane Hermit"); he has also received additional training from Korin. When he appears anonymously in the World Martial Arts Tournament, Master Roshi uses the name "Jackie Chun" (ジャッキー・チュン, Jakkī Chun), wears a wig, and discards his sunglasses.

Oolong 乌龙
乌龙（日文名：乌龙、英文名：Uron、又译：小八戒），日本漫画《龙珠》及其衍生作品中的角色。外型是一只小猪，动物型地球人。该角色根据《西游记》中的猪八戒为原型及中国茶叶乌龙茶命名
Oolong (ウーロン, Ūron), named Mao-Mao in the Harmony Gold dub, is a shapeshifting, anthropomorphic pig that uses his abilities for his greedy desires. He and Puar went to the same shapeshifting school together before he was expelled for stealing the teacher's panties; as such, he can only change his form for five minutes at a time, requiring a one-minute break afterwards. Oolong joins Goku and Bulma to search for the Dragon Balls and eventually steal them but abandons this plan. He makes the first shown wish with the Dragon Balls: a pair of panties. Oolong plays a minor role as the series progresses, where he is often in the company of Master Roshi.
Yajirobe 亚奇洛贝
弥次郎兵卫（ヤジロベー，Yajirobe）是日本著名漫画《龙珠》及其衍生作品中的角色。有着高超的剑术，这个带着武士刀的胖子在这个异想天开的故事中却是个举足轻重的人物，总是能在孙悟空最危险的时候救他一命，可以说他是孙悟空最重要的贵人。
Yajirobe (ヤジロベー, Yajirobē) is an overweight samurai that is often considered to be rude, unmannered, timid, lazy, and cowardly. During their first meeting, Yajirobe gets mad at Goku for stealing his fish, but has a change of heart and helps Goku after he is defeated by King Piccolo, taking him to Korin's to be healed. Yajirobe continues to support Goku and his companions mostly from the sidelines. He was originally a wanderer that lived off the land, but lives with Korin after meeting him. He grows Senzu Beans and delivers them to Goku and his companions. When Goku fights Vegeta for the first time, Yajirobe cuts off Vegeta's tail to turn him back to normal. After this story arc, Yajirobe only makes brief appearances. When Krillin died, Toriyama requested that Yajirobe be voiced by his voice actress Mayumi Tanaka. When Yajirobe and Krillin later appeared in the same scene together, Tanaka gave the former a Nagoya dialect in order to distinguish them.
Dende 丹迪

He continues his role as Guardian for the rest of the series, helping the protagonists during their adventures whenever he can.

Mr. Popo 波波先生
波波先生（日文：ミスター・ポポ），男，日本经典动漫《龙珠》及其衍生作品中的角色，是神仙的仆人和伙伴，长年居住在神殿，曾经训练过孙悟空、天津饭、小林等人。
Mr. Popo (ミスター・ポポ, Misutā Popo) is a genie-like entity who serves as the attendant of Earth's guardian deity. When he first appears, he easily gets the best of Goku in a skirmish. He then assists Kami in training Goku for three years in preparation for his battle against Piccolo at the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament as well as later training Krillin, Yamcha, Tien Shinhan, Chiaotzu and Yajirobe during their preparation against the Saiyans. Mr. Popo serves Dende as his attendant upon the latter's ascension as Earth's new guardian.
Moori
Moori (ムーリ Mūri) is the elder of a Namekian village who becomes the grand elder of New Namek after Grand Elder Guru's death. He is also the brother of Tsuno, Nail, Dende, Cargo, and Esca.
Cyclopian Guards
Cyclopian Guards, known as Robot Soldiers (ロボット兵 Robotto Hei) in the Japanese version, are robots that appear in Dragon Ball Z: The Return of Cooler. Cyclopian Guards were created by the Big Gete Star and serve as a part of Cooler's army while attacking New Namek. The Cyclopian Guards are extremely large in size (roughly twice that of Piccolo). True to their name, each Cyclopian Guard has a small head with a singular red eye and a heavily armored body somewhat resembling that of final form Frieza and final form Cooler. They have large torsos with elongated shoulder plates, long blaster arms with transforming appendages for gripping and fighting, and feet with large digits for walking and skidding across ground.
Guide Robo
The Guide Robo (誘導ロボット Yūdō Robotto) is a servant robot that appears in Dr. Slump and Dragon Ball Z: The Return of Cooler. He is a small, brown robot that is apparently based on Tori-Bot in appearance. The robot escorts Gohan, Krillin, Yajirobe, Master Roshi, Oolong and a group of Namekians through the Big Gete Star in order to take their energy and use it for fuel. He insists that he does not want to hurt them, but ironically plans to "just want to chop you up". Like the Cyclopian Guards, he has transforming and expendable appendages that are quite strong, to the point where all of the present company, not even Gohan or Krillin, could pull Yajirobe free from his grasp. The guide robot traps the prisoners in a cage, making him just as evil as Cooler. Once the main core of the machine planet is destroyed, the robot's singing about "chopping them up" is interrupted when he blows up.
Meta-Cooler Core 机械古拉
古拉被打进太阳后，其实并没有死亡，只是剩下了半个头部依旧存活着，他依靠了比克斯达星宇宙坟墓的高科技芯片修补装置不断再生和增强力量（自身能量达到100亿），变成了机械古拉。身体被无数机械芯片“包裹着”，同时身形变大了不少，头部除右边是原先身体的，左边全都由机械/芯片代替。
Meta-Cooler Core (メタルクウラ・コア Metaru Kūra Koa) is the result of the Big Gete Star absorbing Cooler, fusing him into its main computer and thus combining Cooler and the star into a single entity. This merged entity acts as the main antagonist in Dragon Ball Z: The Return of Cooler.
Meta-Coolers 金属古拉
在《超龙珠英雄》中，古拉跟弗达成共识，弗帮助古拉去比高星，利用高科技改造成金属古拉，左眼变为机械眼并控制着自身能源，其他部位大体与之前相同，改造后实力变得异常强大。
Meta-Coolers (メタルクウラ Metaru Kūra, lit. "Metal Koora") are mass-produced cyborg clones of Cooler created by the Big Gete Star that can be remotely controlled from the planet's core. They are the decoy antagonists of Dragon Ball Z: The Return of Cooler before it is revealed they are clones. Although there are 10,000,000,000 Meta-Coolers (thousands in the Funimation dub), the term "Meta-Cooler" is often used to refer to the first one encountered by Goku. The army of hundreds or thousands of Meta-Cooler is referred to as the Meta-Cooler Corps.
