Dragon Ball Z is a Japanese anime television series produced by Toei Animation. Part of the Dragon Ball media franchise, it is the sequel to the 1986 Dragon Ball anime series and adapts the latter 325 chapters of the original Dragon Ball manga series created by Akira Toriyama. The series aired in Japan on Fuji TV from April 1989 to January 1996 and was later dubbed for broadcast in at least 81 countries worldwide. Dragon Ball Z continues the adventures of Goku in his adult life as he and his companions defend the Earth against villains including aliens (Vegeta, Frieza), androids (Cell), and magical creatures (Majin Buu). At the same time, the story parallels the life of his son, Gohan, as well as the development of his rivals, Piccolo and Vegeta. Due to the success of the anime in the United States, the manga chapters making up its story were initially released by Viz Media under the Dragon Ball Z title. The anime's popularity has also spawned numerous media and merchandise that has come to represent the majority of content within the Dragon Ball franchise. Dragon Ball Z remains a cultural icon through numerous adaptations and re-releases, including a remastered broadcast titled Dragon Ball Z Kai. Dragon Ball Z has since been followed by two sequel series: Dragon Ball GT (1996–1997) and Dragon Ball Super (2015–2018).

Great Saiyaman Saga
Great Saiyaman Saga is the thirteenth saga of Dragon Ball Z. The manga volume that it is made up of is "The New Generation". It features Gohan and the rest of the Dragon Team's lives seven years after the Cell Games. This saga is the first to feature the new generation of Z Fighters such as Goten, Trunks, Android 18, and Videl. It takes place after the Other World Saga and before the World Tournament Saga. It aired in Japan in 1993. This saga is referred to as the High School Saga (ハイスクール編 Hai Sukūru Hen, lit. "High School Arc") in Daizenshuu 2.
赛亚超人篇第200话~第219话
沙鲁游戏事件结束后，地球恢复和平长达七年的时间，悟饭因为母亲的提议，所以来到橘子星高中上学。他变成超级赛亚超人打击犯罪，之后被他的同学比迪丽揭穿身份，随后悟饭传授悟天和比迪丽学习“气”的运用准备迎接第26届天下第一武道会。

Videl (ビーデル Bīderu) is the daughter of Mr. Satan and Miguel, the wife of Gohan and the mother of Pan. Initially, Videl is a headstrong, independent, fierce, tough and tomboyish girl who was raised with fame all around her where she is also feisty and stubborn, much like Chi-Chi. Videl is quite perceptive as she had doubts about her father's claims of defeating Cell and correctly deduced that Gohan was both the mysterious "Golden Fighter" and Great Saiyaman, as well as ultimately coming to suspect that Gohan was the boy who fought Cell Games. She was also crafty enough to get Gohan to accidentally reveal he was Great Saiyaman, which she uses to blackmail him.

孙悟饭是鸟山明的经典作品《龙珠》中的主要人物，是主角孙悟空的长子。拥有强大的潜能，但是性格不像父亲一样好战。自幼在母亲琪琪的教导下勤奋地读书，梦想是成为一名学者。性格善良勇敢，不太喜欢战斗，可愤怒时便会发挥强大的力量。小时候肩负着打败赛亚人保护地球的重任，仅4岁就被迫离开家庭，在荒野跟随比克修炼，建立了深厚的感情。后来又到那美克星与宇宙帝王弗利萨战斗，曾在愤怒状态下把二次变身的弗利萨打得毫无还手之力，逼弗利萨完成最后一次变身。人造人来袭时跟悟空到精神时光屋修练，在极度愤怒下变成超级赛亚人2击败终极人造人沙鲁，七年后又在和魔人布欧战斗中被老界王神引发全部潜力。在魔人布欧一战结束后，和高中同学比迪丽结婚，并专心治学，过着平静的生活。10年后如愿成为学者，并育有一女小芳。未来时空的孙悟饭死于未来17号、未来18号联手。
Son Gohan (孫そん悟ご飯はん Son Gohan, Japanese pronunciation: [sõŋgohãɴ]) is a half-breed Saiyan and one of the most prominent characters in the Dragon Ball series. He is the elder son of the series' primary protagonist Goku and his wife Chi-Chi, the older brother of Goten, the husband of Videl and father to Pan. He is named after Goku's adoptive grandfather, Gohan. Unlike his father, Gohan is a brilliant scholar and lacks a passion for fighting, preferring to do so only when his loved ones are threatened. Nevertheless, he spends much of his life participating in the defense of Earth, often helping to turn the tides when the dormant depths of his power are unleashed
Papoi
Papoi (パポイ Papoi) is the best warrior of the South Area. He is mentioned by South Kai in the Dragon Ball manga, and makes an appearance in the Dragon Ball Z episode "Take Flight, Videl". In the anime, according to South Kai, Papoi gave his life to save his home planet from "something real nasty", which North Kai sarcastically mused to be nothing more than boredom. North Kai and South Kai start to debate who is stronger. While Goku is training in the background with two-ton weights on each of his arms and legs, South Kai claims that Papoi could mop the floor with Goku. Both Kais get competitive, so North Kai tells South Kai to increase each weight on Goku to ten tons per weight. At first, Goku can barely move, but then he turns Super Saiyan and starts moving around very quickly. South Kai's jaw hits the ground, and he quickly says that the scared Papoi should not waste his time fighting Goku, making up an excuse that the tournament will be too much of a low-level competition for Papoi (in the dub, he claims Papoi has a dinner date).
Marron
Marron (マーロン Māron) is the daughter of Krillin and Android 18. As a baby and little girl, she resembles her father: she has his eye shape and lack of nose. In Dragon Ball Super, Marron's appearance remains largely the same but her hairstyle was changed from pigtails to a mushroom-style haircut. She also wears earrings. Despite being seven in Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods, Marron has not grown. Likely due to her father's genetics, Marron's growth was delayed.
Sharpner
Sharpner (シャプナー Shapunā) is an athletic student who is friends with Erasa, Videl, and Gohan at Orange Star High School. He is portrayed as a stereotypical jock who considers himself better than the nerdier Gohan. However, he cares about his friends.
Erasa
Erasa (イレーザ Irēza) is one of the Orange Star High School students who are from Satan City. Normally, she is a very talkative person and she spends a lot of time with Videl, her best friend, along with Gohan and Sharpner. Erasa is a blonde girl with a lined green tube top and blue jeans. During the tournament, she wore a different look consisting of a cropped tube top showing off some cleavage from the stomach & upper back and brown shorts.
Angela
Angela (エンジェラ Enjera) is a character in the Dragon Ball franchise. Angela is a fellow student of Gohan's at Orange Star High School. Angela blackmails Gohan, who is certain she knows he is the secret identity of the Great Saiyaman, into taking her on a date in order to keep her from revealing his secret. It is eventually announced that her bribe was actually the result of recently spotting him wearing teddy bear underwear. Afterward, Angela misunderstands that Gohan and Videl like each other (to their denial), thus she dumps him and falls for yet another boy, leaving Gohan embarrassed and humiliated (although he was also relieved when he learns that the "secret" that she blackmailed him with was actually the fact that he wears teddy bear underwear and not the fact that his secret identity was The Great Saiyaman).
Satan City Mayor
The Satan City Mayor (サタンシティの市長 Satan-Shiti no Shichō) is the Mayor of Satan City. The Satan City Mayor is threatened by the Red Shark Gang and their leader Rock so Mr. Satan would come over to challenge them, as Rock thinks he is much stronger than Mr. Satan. Soon, the Mayor is rescued by Mr. Satan's daughter Videl and the Great Saiyaman.
Rock
Rock (ロック Rokku) is the leader of the Red Shark Gang. He has a passion for evil and is the self-proclaimed most powerful thug in Satan City.
Chobi
Chobi (チビ Chibi) is a baby Saurian pterodactyl who is friends with Gohan and Goten. It appears in the Great Saiyaman Saga.
Toh Toh
Toh Toh (トト Toto) is a large, flying, saurian pterodactyl, and the father of Chobi. He and his family live on Mount Paozu.
Toh Toh's mate
Toh Toh's mate (トトの妻 Toto no Tsuma) is a large, pink pterodactyl that is the mate of Toh Toh. She and her family live on Mount Paozu.
Mr. Musuka
Mr. Musuka (ムスカ Musuka) is a greedy man who operates his circus in Satan City.
Farmer 農夫
The Farmer (農夫 Nōfu) is an ostrich farmer. He is the first human to encounter the Saiyan warrior Raditz upon his arrival on Earth, and the first person shown to have a confirmed Power Level in Dragon Ball Z. In the anime during the Great Saiyaman Saga, the farmer can once again be seen on his farm moving hay from a pile to his Chevrolet. While this farmer looks like the original farmer (and later "hunter")
