Dragon Ball (Japanese: ドラゴンボール, Hepburn: Doragon Bōru) is a Japanese anime television series produced by Toei Animation. It is an adaptation of the first 194 chapters of the manga of the same name created by Akira Toriyama, which were published in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1984 to 1995. The anime is composed of 153 episodes that were broadcast on Fuji TV from February 1986 to April 1989. It was broadcast in 81 countries worldwide. It is part of the Dragon Ball media franchise.
《龙珠》(日语:ドラゴンボール,英语:Dragon Ball),改编自日本漫画作家鸟山明在集英社刊载的同名漫画《龙珠》第001话至第194话的内容的电视动画节目,被这个系列的影迷通称“无印”或“初代”。于1986年2月26日至1989年4月19日在富士电视台播放,总共153话播映结束之后的故事是由《龙珠Z》接续下去。

The Fortuneteller Baba Saga
The Fortuneteller Baba Saga (占いババ編 Uranai Baba Hen, lit. "Fortune-Teller Baba Arc"), is the sixth saga from the anime Dragon Ball. The manga volume that it is made up of is "Test Of The All-Seeing Crone" and the first half of "Return To The Tournament". It occurs after the Commander Red Saga and precedes the Tien Shinhan Saga. It shows us the last stage of Goku's quest to find the seven Dragon Balls, and his training for the 22nd World Martial Arts Tournament.

3年后悟空与乐平及小林参加第22届天下第一武道会,但却遇上也有参加武道会的鹤仙人徒弟天津饭及饺子,最后悟空在决赛被打败,天津饭取得优胜,但此时小林却被短笛大魔王的手下杀害,悟空为此挑战短笛大魔王但是却战败。后来悟空接受加林神的试炼后,最后以龙拳成功打倒短笛大魔王,但是短笛大魔王却在临死前产下自己的儿子短笛,悟空也因此接受神的修练。三年后悟空等人一起参加第23届天下第一武道会,短笛也为父报仇而参加,最后悟空在决赛打败短笛取得优胜。

Grandpa Gohan 孙悟饭
孙悟饭,日本经典动漫《龙珠》系列的角色。是一个和蔼可亲的老人,身穿武道服,身怀绝技,拥有宝物如意棒,住在距离市区很远的包子山,在龙珠故事开篇前就已经去世。是孙悟空的启蒙老师。被变成大猩猩的悟空踩死。Grandpa Son Gohan (孫 悟飯 じいちゃん, Son Gohan Jīsan; FUNimation "Grandpa Gohan", Viz "Son Gohan"), is the adoptive grandfather of Son Goku, whom he found in a crashed spaceship. Having originally studied under Master Roshi and learned the Kamehameha technique from him, he adopts Goku and teaches him martial arts. He warns Goku not to look at the full moon, but Goku disobeys him and accidentally kills him while on a rampage in his giant ape form. Goku does not learn this until Vegeta turns into an ape and tells Goku about the transformations. He is brought back to life for one day by Baba Uranai to fight Goku and see his growth as a martial artist. Goku later names his first son Gohan in his grandfather's honor.

The Ghost Usher
The Ghost Usher (オバケ Obake) is a ghost that serves as Fortuneteller Baba's assistant that appears in Dragon Ball.

Dracula Man
Fangs the Vampire, or Dracula Man (ドラキュラマン Dorakyuraman), is a vampire who works as one of Fortuneteller Baba's fighters. He appears in the Dragon Ball manga and Dragon Ball anime.

See-Through the Invisible Man
See-Through the Invisible Man (スケさん Suke-San) is one of Fortuneteller Baba's five champions.

Bandages the Mummy
Bandages the Mummy (ミイラくん Mīra-kun, lit. "Mummy-kun") is a living dead who works as one of Fortuneteller Baba's fighters.

Spike the Devil Man
Spike the Devil Man, also known simply as Devilman ( アックマン Akkuman), is a devil from Hell who works as one of Fortuneteller Baba's fighters. He was once the strongest of Baba's fighters but was bumped down one rank by Grandpa Gohan.

Chao
Chao (チャオ Chao) is a young girl whose village was being terrorized by Terror and Plague.


Tiger Thief
The Tiger Thief is an anthropomorphic tiger (who is just like Bear Thief) who was being offered to save Chao's village in "Terror and Plague". He declined the offer and was going to attack Chao but was defeated by Goku.

Terror 金角
Terror, known as Kinkaku (きんかく Kinkaku, lit. "Golden Horn") in the original Japanese version, is a character who appears in the Dragon Ball episode "Terror and Plague".

Plague 銀角
Plague, known as Ginkaku (ぎんかく Ginkaku, lit. "Silver Horn") in the original Japanese version, is a character who appears in the Dragon Ball episode "Terror and Plague".

Master Chin
Master Chin (陳ちん大たい拳けん Chin Taiken), is a Martial Artist and leader of the Chin-Star School.

Shoken
Shoken (陳ちん小しょう拳けん Chin Shōken) is the son of Master Chin, and prior to the events of "Goku vs. Sky Dragon", the only remaining member of the Chin-Star School.


Sky Dragon
Sky Dragon (豹ひょう牙が天てん龍ろん Hyōga Tenron) is a Martial Arts teacher, and the leader of the Panther-Fang School along with his brother Rising Dragon.

Rising Dragon
Rising Dragon (豹ひょう牙が昇しゃお龍ろん Hyōga Shaoron) is the brother of the Martial Arts master Sky Dragon. He is enemies with the Chin-Star School, but he eventually becomes friends with Goku and the school after Goku defeats his brother in a martial arts tournament.

Shula
Shula (シュラ Shura) is a demon who lives in the Demon Realm and is one of its best fighters.

Melee
Melee (メラ Mera) is a demon from the Demon Realm who appears in the Dragon Ball anime.

Gola
Gola (ゴラ Gora) is a demon who guards the inner entrance to the Demon Realm.

Princess Misa
Princess Misa (ミーサ姫 Mīsa Hime) is the princess of Fiend Village, a village terrorized by demons.


King Kress and Queen Kress
King Kress (クレス王) and Queen Kress (クレス王妃) are the rulers of the Fiend Village, a land that Goku visits in the episode "Goku Goes to Demon Land".



Tanmen
Tanmen (タンメン Tanmen) is a girl who lives in a village attacked by InoShikaCho. She only appears in the Dragon Ball anime.

InoShikaCho
InoShikaCho (イノシカチョウ Inoshikachō, lit. "Boar–Deer–Butterfly") is a monster that terrorized villages. InoShikaCho is a large wild boar with butterfly wings and deer horns. The name is a reference to a card combination in the Hanafuda card game, Koi-Koi; InoShikaCho uses the Boar (Ino), the Deer (Shika), and the Butterfly (Cho).
InoShikaCho was raised by Master Roshi's former friend, Master Shen, but as it got older and larger it became more aggressive. Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu also knew the InoShikaCho when it was a baby

Konkichi
Konkichi (コンキチ Konkichi) is a filler character in the Dragon Ball anime. He is a troublemaking fox that Goku rescued in a forest near Yahhoy.
