Dragon Ball (Japanese: ドラゴンボール, Hepburn: Doragon Bōru) is a Japanese anime television series produced by Toei Animation. It is an adaptation of the first 194 chapters of the manga of the same name created by Akira Toriyama, which were published in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1984 to 1995. The anime is composed of 153 episodes that were broadcast on Fuji TV from February 1986 to April 1989. It was broadcast in 81 countries worldwide. It is part of the Dragon Ball media franchise.

《龙珠》（日语：ドラゴンボール，英语：Dragon Ball），改编自日本漫画作家鸟山明在集英社刊载的同名漫画《龙珠》第001话至第194话的内容的电视动画节目，被这个系列的影迷通称“无印”或“初代”。于1986年2月26日至1989年4月19日在富士电视台播放，总共153话播映结束之后的故事是由《龙珠Z》接续下去。

Red Ribbon Army Saga

After the tournament, Goku sets out on his own to recover the Dragon Ball his deceased grandfather left him and encounters a terrorist organization known as the Red Ribbon Army, whose diminutive leader, Commander Red, wants to collect the Dragon Balls so that he can use them to become taller. He almost single-handedly defeats the army, including their hired assassin Mercenary Tao, whom he originally loses to, but after training under the hermit Korin, easily beats. Goku reunites with his friends to defeat Fortuneteller Baba's fighters and have her locate the last Dragon Ball in order to revive a friend killed by Tao.

修行之旅篇第001话~第083

话孙悟空被布尔玛带出深山一起寻找龙珠，在结束搜寻后与小林一起拜龟仙人为师学习武术，修行完毕后两人参加第21届天下第一武道会，最后悟空在决赛败给由龟仙人假扮的陈龙后又在此开始寻找龙珠，但是在搜寻途中却遇上意图利用龙珠征服世界的红缎带军团。由于悟空打倒红缎带军团多个将领，红缎带军团聘用桃白白来应对，悟空也因此被打败，后来接受加林神的修练，成功打倒桃白白并且消灭红缎带军团。

Colonel Silver 西鲁巴上校（シルバー大佐）
红缎带军团的银队指挥官，又译白大佐。长相英俊、身手矫健、擅长拳击。在找寻龙珠中遇到孙悟空，被孙悟空打倒。战败后使用无线电向黑元帅报告敌方拥有比自己军队更精巧的龙珠雷达，被黑元帅问到敌人的数量时，西鲁巴上校回答：“只有一个小孩”，被愤怒的黑元帅处以死刑，之后的消息不明。
Colonel Silver (シルバー大佐 Shirubā Taisa) is a high-ranking Red Ribbon Army officer.

General White 怀特将军（ホワイト将军）

红缎带军团的白队指挥官，又译白将军。穷凶极恶的中年男子，掌管着玛斯鲁塔，绑架当地村长且强逼村中的男人找寻龙珠，最后使用枪支打昏孙悟空，被愤怒的人造人8号打飞，生死未卜。General White (ホワイト将軍 Howaito Shōgun) is a secondary antagonist in the Dragon Ball manga, and the anime Dragon Ball. He is the commander of Muscle Tower which is the Red Ribbon Army's northern fortress.

Major Metallitron 阿诺中尉

红缎带军团的白队军曹，又译麦塔力克中士，机器人。外表酷似阿诺德·施瓦辛格饰演的“T800机器人”。右手可以脱离手臂给予敌人打击、嘴部可发射导弹。最后被孙悟空的龟派气功波击毁。

Major Metallitron, also known as Sergeant Metallic (メタリック軍曹 Metarikku Gunsō) in the original Japanese version, is an android created by the Red Ribbon Army, and Goku's second challenge in the Muscle Tower.

Ninja Murasaki 紫军曹

红缎带军团的白队曹长，又译村崎忍者。自称为忍者，会使用隐身术、榻榻接招术、分身术，实则都是依靠道具骗人的小把戏，使用分身术时找来其五胞胎兄弟共同对付孙悟空。最后被孙悟空打晕，生死不明

(ムラサキ曹長 Murasaki Sōchō, lit. "Sergeant Major Murasaki") is a ninja who is a member of the Red Ribbon Army and second-in-command of Muscle Tower under General White.

Android 8 人造人8号

日本经典动漫《龙珠》及其衍生作品中的角色。人造人8号是《龙珠》中第一位出现的人造人，由弗拉贝博士制造，在大战红缎带军团期间出现。剧场版中曾救出孙悟空，后被剧场版中的大BOSS杀死，剧末被孙悟空向神龙许愿复活并拆除体内炸弹。

Android 8 (人造人間8号, Jinzōningen Hachi-gō, "Artificial Human #8") or Mechanical Man No. 8, is the first Red Ribbon Android operative seen in the series. Although he is deployed against Goku as a weapon, Android 8 turns out to be kindhearted and dislikes fighting; he befriends Goku, defects from the Red Ribbon Army, and later lives peacefully with the locals of Jingle Village

Buyon 布臃

布臃（ブヨン），日本经典动漫《龙珠》及其衍生作品中的角色，是红缎带军团的秘密兵器、超级怪物、又译为大肥龙。在玛斯鲁塔的5层与孙悟空、人造人8号战斗。身体超软、可释放电流、孙悟空的攻击与龟派气功波都对其无效。被孙悟空打破墙壁后吹进屋来的寒风冻僵，尔后被孙悟空击碎。

Buyon (ブヨン) was a strange creature that lived within Muscle Tower's sixth floor.Buyon appeared as a bloated pink creature, with mottled skin that implied a reptilian nature. Bright pink, he had thick arms, antennae on his head, a noseless face with a mouth of shape teeth, and black eyes with yellow sclerae. His belly covered his feet, which were only just visible, and he had a tail.

Hasky

Hasky (ハスキー Hasukī) is an anime-only character. She is a master thief that is occasionally employed by the Red Ribbon Army.

Suno

Suno (スノ Suno) is a young girl who lives in Jingle Village. Goku met her while he was looking for the Dragon Balls after the 21st World Martial Arts Tournament.
