Dragon Ball Super (ドラゴンボール超スーパー Doragon Bōru Sūpā) (commonly abbreviated as DBS) is the fourth anime installment in the Dragon Ball franchise, which ran from July 5th, 2015 to March 25th, 2018. It is set between Dragon Ball Z episodes 288 and 289 and is the first Dragon Ball television series featuring a new storyline in 18 years since the final episode of Dragon Ball GT in 1997. A Dragon Ball Super manga was being produced alongside the anime. The series is developed by Toei, in a similar process to the Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT animes and Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods and Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ films. The series plot takes place after the Kid Buu Saga, in between the ten-year gap towards the 28th World Martial Arts Tournament.

Universe Survival Saga 宇宙生存篇

The Universe Survival Saga (宇う宙ちゅうサバイバル編へん Uchū Sabaibaru Hen) is the fifth major saga of the Dragon Ball Super anime and the fourth major saga of the Dragon Ball Super manga under the name Tournament of Power Saga (力ちからの大会たいかい編へん Chikara no Taikai Hen). The Tournament of Power planned by Zeno begins, with multiple universes partaking—with each universe having gathered a team of 10 fighters who battle alongside each other on a stage. The arc features continuous debuts of elites from each universe. However, this also proves to be the beginning of universal destruction. If a team were to lose, meaning having all of its members eliminated, then the universe they come from will be destroyed immediately. The first part of this story arc is referred to as the Universe Survival Saga: Prelude, the second is the Universe Survival Saga: Gathering, the third is the Tournament of Power Saga and the fourth is the Tournament of Power Saga: Climax.

剧情简介

在第六宇宙篇的结尾时，全王提出“下回把全部宇宙的选手都聚集起来，来办一个比赛试试看哦”。孙悟空为了让全王实现这个诺言而不顾警告去会见全王，于是大神官招唤全部宇宙的界王神和破坏神前来，其中还包含第11宇宙傲兵队队长同时也是破坏神候补塔破。在提出破坏神决斗和观看孙悟空和塔破的对决后还是提议举办了比赛，因全王本意就有让平均水准低于七的宇宙消失，除了第一、第五、第八、第十二宇宙高于7免参加以外其余宇宙如果输了这场比赛，所在的整个宇宙将会被全王毁灭。但是如果赢得了这场比赛，就可以获得超级七龙珠向超级神龙许愿的资格，同时所属宇宙也可以不必被免除。孙悟空感觉事态严重于是邀请地球上的武术高手们参加比赛，孙悟空与孙悟饭、贝吉塔、天津饭、小林、短笛、龟仙人、人造人17号, 18号以及和布欧先生。但是布欧先生因为正在睡觉，所以孙悟空决定把布欧先生的名额让给地狱里的弗利萨，这几名来自地球和地狱的武术高手，代表整个第七宇宙参加这次的力量大赛。经过一轮激战后，第九、十、二、六、四、三宇宙按次序消灭。最后悟空和弗利萨和第十一宇宙的最强战士-吉连一起同归于尽，实际上是17号诈死与弗利萨号合谋，孙悟空并不知情，第十一宇宙最后也被消灭，并由17号获得超级七龙珠并许愿恢复所有被消灭的宇宙。第七宇宙水平也从倒数第二升格为倒数第三。

Quitela 奎特拉
奎特拉（キテラ（罗马音：Kitera）），男，日本经典动漫《龙珠超》及其衍生作品中的角色。第4宇宙的破坏神。外形是一只黄绿色的老鼠，对第7宇宙破坏神比鲁斯抱有强烈的敌对情绪。在龙珠超漫画第28话的破坏神混战当中，最终只有他和比鲁斯两位破坏神站到了最后，其实力之强可见一斑。在未来时空中，奎特拉因第4宇宙界王神·库尔被“黑暗人”与扎马斯②所杀而死亡，对应天使亦沉睡。《龙珠超》中所有的破坏神与天使的名字均改编自酒名。奎特拉（キテラ/Quitela）来源于龙舌兰酒Tequila（调序读）。
Quitela (キテラ Kitera) is the God of Destruction of Universe 4. He is accompanied by his attendant and martial arts teacher Cognac. Quitela is a small yellow anthropomorphic mouse with large round ears, a thin tail, and a black outline around his eyes. He wears a green striped variation of the typical God of Destruction attire.

Cognac 柯尼克
柯尼克，日本经典动漫《龙珠超》中的虚拟角色。第4宇宙的天使，能力强，洞察力高。在未来时空中，因破坏神奎特拉死亡，而沉睡。《龙珠超》中所有的破坏神与天使的名字均改编自酒名。柯尼克（コニック，Konikku）来源于干邑酒（Cognac）。
Cognac (コニック Konikku) is the Angel of Universe 4 and the attendant and martial arts teacher of Quitela. He appears in Dragon Ball Super during the Universe Survival Saga. Cognac, alongside Quitela and Kuru, attends the Zeno Expo. He remains silent during the Tournament of Power. He was semi-shocked when Nink was knocked out of the arena. He continues to silently observe the Tournament of Power, even when his universe was being erased.

Kuru 库尔
库尔，日本经典动漫《龙珠超》及其衍生作品中的角色。第4宇宙的界王神，居住在界王神界。性格傲慢，作为神的意识非常高。在未来时空中，因被“黑暗人”与扎马斯②所杀，而使第四宇宙破坏神·奎特拉死亡，天使亦沉睡。留有白色庞克头，橙色皮肤，耳带坡塔拉耳环，身着界王神统一制服，身材较高，拥有读心术和各种超能力，性格傲慢，作为神的意识非常高。
Kuru (クル Kuru) is the Supreme Kai of Universe 4. Kuru is a tall Core Person with orange skin, rather effeminate features, and a white mohawk. He wears a navy blue and yellow lined variation of the Supreme Kai outfit, with black pants, white boots, and green potara.

Damom 达蒙
达蒙，日本经典动漫《龙珠超》及其衍生作品中的角色，由田中秀幸配音。第4宇宙最强的10名战士之一，昆虫人战士，体型非常小。因为体型小，以致于被认为是隐身人，能察觉到气息，却攻击不到。因为体型非常小的缘故，移动非常敏捷，想要击中它也是很困难的。没有翅膀，靠不停跳跃发动攻击。第4宇宙参赛选手的名字全部来源于可作为香辛料的草本植物。达蒙（ダモン，Damon）来源于英语小豆蔻（カルダモン，Cardamon）。
Damom (ダモン "Damon") is a tiny warrior of Universe 4 and a member of Team Universe 4. The circumstances behind Damom eliminating Piccolo where specifically created by original author Akira Toriyama. According to Toei's original background for Damom in their website's source code, Damon was to fight using dodging techniques, shedding his skin as he did so and making it self destruct. This went unused for the final version of the tournament. He is an extremely small, round dark green cicada-like insect with small orange antennae and red eyes. He has a blue section on his chest, a small triangular tail, and no fingers on his hands, having giant rounded balls for hands instead.

Ganos 嘎诺斯

Ganos (ガノス Ganosu) is a warrior from Universe 4 and a member of Team Universe 4. Ganos is a green humanoid with medium length spiky black hair, magenta eyes, pointy ears, large brown and orange feet, that are very bird like, sporting two large black talons per foot. He wears a dark green sleeveless vest accented with a yellow lining, black and yellow accented arm bands, large baggy pants, with a brown double belt across it with a red and yellow gem. He sports a red beret with blue and yellow goggles fastened to his forehead with a brown strap. When transformed, he becomes a large bird-like humanoid with long orange and yellow hair, feathers, and a thick beak resembling that of an eagle or a shoebill.

Nink 宁克

Nink (ニンク Ninku) is a warrior from Universe 4 and a member of Team Universe 4. Nink is a large green humanoid, who resembles an ogre or deities in Asian lore. He is muscular and has white hair, yellow eyes, and fangs protruding from his mouth. His long white hair is tied in a ponytail and he wears a blue cuirass with one shoulder strap. He has a gold emblem on his cuirass and has brown forearm bracers with white bands near his shoulders. His garments in overall somewhat resembles a gladiator; wearing a belt with a gold buckle, white shorts, and boots.

Shosa 肖萨

Shosa (ショウサ Shōsa) is a warrior from Universe 4 and a member of Team Universe 4. He resembles a traditional werewolf with dark greenish fur, having very feral looking hind-legs. He also has tuft of fur around his neck. He has large arms as well as hands. He wears a red suit with golden zippers and black shoes. Additionally, Shosa has normal white sclera eyes blue iris eyes in comparison to the Trio of Danger's yellow sclera, more animalistic looking eyes.

Majora 马吉拉

Majora (マジョラ Majora) is a blind warrior from Universe 4 and a member of Team Universe 4. He bears resemblance to a green Fennec fox. Comparing to his teammate Shosa who has a heavier built, Majora's physical appearance in general is more slender and maybe more elegant. He wears a purple robe with golden zippers and very long sleeves. He wears blue pants with bandages on his legs leading to his black shoes. He wears 2 hooped earrings on his right ear. His eyes are always closed, as he states he has lost his eyesight a long time ago.

Caway 加薇

She can be considered very beautiful, having a slender, curvy figure and delicate features. Her outfit can be compared to that of a traditional elven princess, with her wearing an elegant fantasy-style gown with a cape and arm warmers, high heels, and a circlet being around her forehead.

Dercori 达可利

Dercori (ダーコリ Dākori) is a warrior from Universe 4 and a member of Team Universe 4 who uses mystical talismans in battle. Dercori is a female humanoid with light violet skin, mint-green hair that was tied in the back for a shaggy high pointy ponytail and two long bangs covering the sides of her face, folded skins on her shoulders, exceptionally large hands and feet, and fins; along with her powered up form with a cephalopod-like impression, it is possible that her race may possess an aquatic biology. She doesn't wear shoes.

Monna 蒙娜

Monna (モンナ Monna) is a warrior from Universe 4 and a member of Team Universe 4. She is a round and fat green-skinned humanoid female fighter, much like Ribrianne. Monna is seen wearing a yellowish suit with red bands on the neck and armholes, has indigo hair with 2, large ponytails, yellow gloves with orange bands, white belt, blue small pants, and clover boots.

Xiangca 香茶
香茶，日本经典动漫《龙珠超》及其衍生作品中的角色，由白石凉子配音。第4宇宙最强的10名战士之一，能够制造并操纵幻影，号称“幻影制造者”。第4宇宙参赛选手的名字全部来源于可作为香辛料的草本植物。“シャンツァ(罗马音Shantsa)”来源汉语“香菜”，它的花语象征着隐藏的天赋，能力，价值。国内选择音译为“香茶”，但香茶并不属于香辛料。
Xiangca (シャンツァ Shantsa) is a warrior from Universe 4 and a member of Team Universe 4.Xiangca is a small, chubby blue alien creature. He has red circles on his cheeks and body, and wears some rings on his feet. He has three horns on his head, and has some holes on his back that allow him to float through the air.

Gamisalas 伽米萨拉斯

Gamisalas (ガミサラス Gamisarasu) is an invisible warrior from Universe 4 and a member of Team Universe 4.His full appearance isn't revealed, however his silhouette in the anime resembles a short chameleon like creature, with horns, pointy ears, and short spiky hair. His silhouette in the manga is simply of a humanoid entity with short spiky hair.
