Dragon Ball Super (ドラゴンボール超スーパー Doragon Bōru Sūpā) (commonly abbreviated as DBS) is the fourth anime installment in the Dragon Ball franchise, which ran from July 5th, 2015 to March 25th, 2018. It is set between Dragon Ball Z episodes 288 and 289 and is the first Dragon Ball television series featuring a new storyline in 18 years since the final episode of Dragon Ball GT in 1997. A Dragon Ball Super manga was being produced alongside the anime. The series is developed by Toei, in a similar process to the Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT animes and Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods and Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ films. The series plot takes place after the Kid Buu Saga, in between the ten-year gap towards the 28th World Martial Arts Tournament.

Universe Survival Saga 宇宙生存篇
The Universe Survival Saga (宇う宙ちゅうサバイバル編へん Uchū Sabaibaru Hen) is the fifth major saga of the Dragon Ball Super anime and the fourth major saga of the Dragon Ball Super manga under the name Tournament of Power Saga (力ちからの大会たいかい編へん Chikara no Taikai Hen). The Tournament of Power planned by Zeno begins, with multiple universes partaking—with each universe having gathered a team of 10 fighters who battle alongside each other on a stage. The arc features continuous debuts of elites from each universe. However, this also proves to be the beginning of universal destruction. If a team were to lose, meaning having all of its members eliminated, then the universe they come from will be destroyed immediately. The first part of this story arc is referred to as the Universe Survival Saga: Prelude, the second is the Universe Survival Saga: Gathering, the third is the Tournament of Power Saga and the fourth is the Tournament of Power Saga: Climax.
在第六宇宙篇的结尾时，全王提出“下回把全部宇宙的选手都聚集起来，来办一个比赛试试看哦”。孙悟空为了让全王实现这个诺言而不顾警告去会见全王，于是大神官招唤全部宇宙的界王神和破坏神前来，其中还包含第11宇宙傲兵队队长同时也是破坏神候补塔破。在提出破坏神决斗和观看孙悟空和塔破的对决后还是提议举办了比赛，因全王本意就有让平均水准低于七的宇宙消失，除了第一、第五、第八、第十二宇宙高于7免参加以外其余宇宙如果输了这场比赛，所在的整个宇宙将会被全王毁灭。但是如果赢得了这场比赛，就可以获得超级七龙珠向超级神龙许愿的资格，同时所属宇宙也可以不必被免除。孙悟空感觉事态严重于是邀请地球上的武术高手们参加比赛，孙悟空与孙悟饭、贝吉塔、天津饭、小林、短笛、龟仙人、人造人17号, 18号以及和布欧先生。但是布欧先生因为正在睡觉，所以孙悟空决定把布欧先生的名额让给地狱里的弗利萨，这几名来自地球和地狱的武术高手，代表整个第七宇宙参加这次的力量大赛。经过一轮激战后，第九、十、二、六、四、三宇宙按次序消灭。最后悟空和弗利萨和第十一宇宙的最强战士-吉连一起同归于尽，实际上是17号诈死与弗利萨号合谋，孙悟空并不知情，第十一宇宙最后也被消灭，并由17号获得超级七龙珠并许愿恢复所有被消灭的宇宙。第七宇宙水平也从倒数第二升格为倒数第三。
Heles 海勒斯
海勒斯，女，日本经典动漫《龙珠超》及其衍生作品中的角色，是第2宇宙的破坏神，也是破坏神中唯一的女性，具有很高的审美意识，受不了丑陋的东西。在未来特兰克斯的时空中，海勒斯因第2宇宙界王神·佩尔被“黑暗人”与扎马斯②所杀而死亡，对应天使亦沉睡。《龙珠超》中所有的破坏神与天使的名字均改编自酒名。海勒斯（へレス/Heresu，Jerez）来源于雪莉酒的西班牙语原名“Jerez”。
Heles (ヘレス Heresu) is the God of Destruction of Universe 2. She is accompanied by her attendant and martial arts teacher Sour. Heles is a human-like woman described as being extraordinarily beautiful. She is very slender yet curvaceous in frame with light brown skin, large green eyes (along with dark turquoise eye shadow), red lipstick, and black hair with gold beads at the end. Her design resembles a mixture of Nefertiti and Cleopatra. Her clothes have the same style as the other Gods of Destruction. She wears what appears to be ancient Egyptian apparel: a headdress, a dark turquoise sash, and a white skirt. In the Arabic dub, the top half of her biceps are covered by some sort of short-sleeved base layer, which is yellow in color; her stomach is also covered by a base layer, only this time is dark turquoise.
Sour 萨瓦
萨瓦，日本经典动漫《龙珠超》及其衍生作品中的角色。第2宇宙的天使，性格上受不了肌肉型的肉体，喜欢知性的事物。在未来时空中，因破坏神海勒斯死亡而沉睡。《龙珠超》中所有的破坏神与天使的名字均改编自酒名。萨瓦（サワア，Sawaa）来源于酸酒（Sour）。
Sour (サワア Sawā) is the Angel of Universe 2 and attendant and martial arts teacher of Heles.Alongside Heles and Pell, Sour attends the Zeno Expo. During the Tournament of Power, he shows no signs of concern for his Universe's team, knowing that he will not be erased when they lose. However, he shows some respect for the efforts of his universe's fighters at the end and when Universe 2 was finally erased, he looked solemn, suggesting some sadness.
Pell 佩尔
佩尔，男，日本经典动漫《龙珠超》及其衍生作品中的角色，第2宇宙界王神。追求肉体的强度，自己也有在锻炼。是南界王神的上位版的容貌。在未来时空中，因被“黑暗人”与扎马斯所杀，而使第二宇宙破坏神·海勒斯死亡，天使亦沉睡。外表是个留有白色头发和大胡子的老者，青色皮肤，尖耳朵，耳带橙色坡塔拉耳环，身着界王神统一制服，身材矮小，拥有一些超能力。
Pell (ペル Peru) is the Supreme Kai of Universe 2. He is described as looking like an elderly version of South Supreme Kai with a thick white beard and mustache, an unusual trait for Kai. In the anime, his Potara were destroyed by Kefla when he gave them to Rabanra and Zarbuto.
Ribrianne 里布里安
里布里安，女，日本经典动漫《龙珠超》中的女性角色。第2宇宙的粉衣女战士，带领卡昆莎、萝吉二人。使用蛮力、突进、拳击的连打攻击方式。在TV动画中是布里安·黛·夏多变身成魔女战士后的形态；在漫画中则只有一个形态。第2宇宙参赛选手的名字全部来源于肉食。“布里安·黛·夏多（ブリアン·デ·シャトー/Burian de Shato，Brianne de Chateau）”来源于夏多布里昂牛排（シャトーブリアンステーキ/shatoburian suteki，Chateaubriand steak）。变身后加上的“里”指肋条（ribs）。
Ribrianne (リブリアン Riburian), whose real name is Brianne de Chateau (ブリアン・デ・シャトー Burian de Shatō) in the anime, is a warrior from Universe 2, and the leader of the Kamikaze Fireballs. Ribrianne's base form "Brianne" was created for the anime. As such, it does not appear in the manga.

Magical Girl Ribrianne is a transformation where Brianne becomes round and wears a pink jumpsuit with an antenna to become "Ribrianne".
Kakunsa 卡昆莎
卡昆莎，女，日本经典动漫《龙珠超》及其衍生作品中的角色。第2宇宙的蓝衣女战士，与萝吉跟随里布里安。在TV动画中是桑卡·柯变身成魔女战士后的形态；在漫画中则只有一个形态。第2宇宙10名参赛选手的名字全部来源于肉食。“sankaku”为日语三角的罗马音，故桑卡·柯/卡昆莎的名字来源于三角肉。
Kakunsa (カクンサ Kakunsa), whose real name is Sanka Coo (サンカ・クー Sanka Kū) in the anime, is a warrior from Universe 2 and a member of the Kamikaze Fireballs. In the manga, Kakunsa's base form "Sanka Coo" does not exist.
Magical Girl Kakunsa
In the anime, when Sanka Coo uses her transformation, she becomes Magical Girl Kakunsa. In this form, she is a beast warrior with the instincts of a wild animal. Though her appearance looks like a cross of humanoid, monkey and feline.
Roasie 萝吉
萝吉，女，日本经典动漫《龙珠超》及其衍生作品中的虚拟角色。第2宇宙的黄衣女战士，与卡昆莎跟随里布里安。在TV动画中是苏·萝丝变身成魔女战士后的形态；在漫画中则只有一个形态。第2宇宙10名参赛选手的名字全部来源于肉食。苏·萝丝的名字与烤肉“roast”有关。
Roasie (ロージィ Rōjī), whose real name is Sous Roas (スー・ロース Sū Rōsu) in the anime, is a warrior from Universe 2 and a member of the Kamikaze Fireballs. In the manga, Roasie's base form "Sous Roas" does not exist.

In the anime, Magical Girl Roasie is Sous's transformation where she gains teal skin, orange goggles and a purple jumpsuit.
Rabanra 拉邦拉
拉邦拉，男，日本经典动漫《龙珠超》及其衍生作品中的角色。第2宇宙的战士。
Rabanra (ラバンラ Rabanra) is a warrior from Universe 2, a member of Team Universe 2, and an attendant to the Kamikaze Fireballs. He is a Frieza Race-like humanoid whose top part of his body is a dark orange and his legs are dark blue. He also has pointed ears and a green dome on his forehead. When he transforms, he dons clothing similar to that of Kakunsa's. His body also turns light blue, and his dome turns dark blue.
Jimizu 吉米思
吉米思，男，日本经典动漫《龙珠超》及其衍生作品中的角色。第2宇宙的战士，是一个亚德拉特星人。有着绅士般的性格。
Jimizu (ジーミズ Jīmizu) is a Yardrat from Universe 2 and a member of Team Universe 2. Jimizu wears traditional Yardrat clothing, much like the type that was given to Goku when he trained on Planet Yardrat for a year.
Bikal 碧卡尔
碧卡尔，女，日本经典漫画《龙珠超》及其衍生作品中的角色。第2宇宙的女战士。用巨大的翅膀在空中飘舞，对被击落场外的伙伴提供支援。
Bikal (ビカル Bikaru) is a warrior from Universe 2 and a member of Team Universe 2. Bikal is a humanoid young woman with long pale blue hair tied into a ponytail, pointed ears, gold eyes (usually glowing purple), black and purple wings, and light grey skin similar in color to that of the Formation. Her outfit consists of a purple and black leotard. Bikal speaks in a polite manner towards her teammates, using elevated language and respectful terms of address. She is also shown to be very kind to the Kamikaze Fireballs on her team, specially Kakunsa, calling her "Divine/Mistress Kakunsa".
Zirloin 扎罗印
扎罗印，男，日本经典动漫《龙珠超》及其衍生作品中的虚拟角色。第2宇宙的战士，身材魁梧的猛男。
Zirloin (ザーロイン Zāroin) is a warrior from Universe 2, a member of Team Universe 2, and an attendant to the Kamikaze Fireballs. Zirloin is a very large and muscular humanoid male with blue skin and red eyes. Attached to his gold shoulder plates he sports a long dark purple tabard that drapes over his bare chest and covers his white undergarments (although he can be seen wearing a golden breastplate in his universe's team lineup). He also wears a pair of gold bracers and thigh high boots, and a tall, pointed gold helm. In the anime, when Zirloin gained Ribrianne's powers he also inherited her costume.
Zarbuto 扎布多
扎布多，日本经典动漫《龙珠超》及其衍生作品中的角色。第2宇宙的战士，是一个兹夫尔人。
Zarbuto (ザーブト Zābuto) is a warrior from Universe 2, a member of Team Universe 2, and an attendant of the Kamikaze Fireballs Zarbuto is a humanoid old man with a white mustache and is clad in a red suit and white cap.
Harmira 哈米拉
哈米拉，日本经典动漫《龙珠超》及其衍生作品中的角色。第2宇宙的狙击手战士。
Harmira (ハーミラ Hāmira) is a warrior from Universe 2 and a member of Team Universe 2. Harmira is a smart and calculative combatant. Harmira is a green skinned muscular humanoid individual with wrist cannons, pointy ears, orange hair, and a beak-like jaw with reptile-like nose holes. He wears nothing but a pair of red briefs and boots.
Prum 普朗
普朗，日本经典动漫《龙珠超》及其衍生作品中的角色。第2宇宙的战士。普朗不但可以监视敌人，还能起到镜子的作用，能和哈米拉配合作战，但本身没有任何战斗招式。
Prum (プラン Puran) is a warrior from Universe 2 and a member of Team Universe 2. Prum is a brick red humanoid blob that normally has a yellow eye color. His eye color turns green and his body glows blue whenever he is charged with someone's ki blasts. In the anime, when reflecting energy blasts, his body turns silver
