Dragon Ball Super (ドラゴンボール超スーパー Doragon Bōru Sūpā) (commonly abbreviated as DBS) is the fourth anime installment in the Dragon Ball franchise, which ran from July 5th, 2015 to March 25th, 2018. It is set between Dragon Ball Z episodes 288 and 289 and is the first Dragon Ball television series featuring a new storyline in 18 years since the final episode of Dragon Ball GT in 1997. A Dragon Ball Super manga was being produced alongside the anime. The series is developed by Toei, in a similar process to the Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT animes and Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods and Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ films. The series plot takes place after the Kid Buu Saga, in between the ten-year gap towards the 28th World Martial Arts Tournament.

Universe 6 Saga 破坏神象帕篇
The Universe 6 Saga (第6宇宙編 Dai Roku Uchū Hen), also called the God of Destruction Champa Saga (破壊神シャンパ編 Hakaishin Shanpa Hen), or the Universe 6 VS Universe 7 Saga (第6宇宙VS第7宇宙編 Dai Roku Uchū VS Dai Nana Uchū Hen) is the second saga in the Dragon Ball Super manga, and the third saga in the Dragon Ball Super anime. The saga involves a tournament between Beerus and Champa, conflicting over who will possess Universe 7's Earth and the Super Dragon Balls.

Champa 象帕
象帕，日本经典动漫《龙珠超》及相关衍生作品中登场的男性角色。第6宇宙的破坏神，他是第7宇宙的破坏神比鲁斯的孪生兄弟，与比鲁斯实力不相上下，且都喜爱美食。象帕与比鲁斯一样，是与像界王神一样的创造神相对应、维持宇宙平衡的破坏神。破坏神拥有令人难以想象的强悍破坏力，喜欢破坏，向来很少直接杀人，往往是动动手指直接摧毁整个星球。每当破坏神苏醒、活跃之时，许多行星将会迎来灭亡的噩运。 宇宙共有12个，也就是有12位对应自己所处宇宙的破坏神。破坏神的地位与界王神相当，仅次于负责统治所有宇宙的全王。同一宇宙内，破坏神与界王神是共生关系，双方分别负责宇宙中的毁灭与创造，共同维持宇宙的平衡，一旦其中一方不复存在，另一方也会死。每位破坏神另有一位天使，作为自己的师傅、仆人、随从及监督者。

He is accompanied by his attendant and martial arts teacher, Vados. Champa is the main antagonist of the Universe 6 Saga, but he becomes a supporting character in later sagas.

Fuwa (フワ Fuwa) is the Supreme Kai of Universe 6. Fuwa is a fairly short overweight green skinned Core Person with tall, spiky white hair that resembles a pineapple. He wears a variation of the typical Supreme Kai attire; magenta with yellow lining, a light blue sash, light purple undershirt, blue pants, white boots and dark green potara.

The Attendant is a tall, lean, and teal Core Person. He has a long head with pointy ears and wears green potara earrings. He wears a red long hat and a Kai outfit: purple undershirt with a red coat, blue pants and white boots. He also wears a light blue sash around his waist.

Monaka (モナカ Monaka) is a deliveryman whom the God of Destruction Beerus uses as motivation for Goku to get stronger. Monaka is a short and slender, humanoid red alien from planet Wagashi. He has a wide and chubby head with pointy ears, a small, upturned nose, and large nipples that are referenced as the "Grand Ponta". Monaka wears a green suit and purple shoes. Monaka is said to be an amateur and so he is severely outclassed by the other competitors in the tournament, the intensity of the battles causes Monaka to be scared out of his wits. Before his battle with Hit he was shaking and was reluctant to jump into the arena.
Hit 希特

Hit (ヒット Hitto), renowned as "Never-Miss Hit" (百発百中のヒット Hyappatsu-hyakuchū no Hitto, lit. "Hit the Infallible") and as the "Legendary Hitman" (伝説の殺し屋 Densetsu no Koroshi-ya, lit. "Legendary Assassin") is the legendary assassin of Universe 6. In addition, he also later on becomes the leader for Team Universe 6. He is the main fighting antagonist of the Universe 6 Saga. Born over 1000 years ago, Hit has been an assassin for a very long time. He is famous for his highly efficient work at his job as all of his past assassinations were successfully completed. His signature for completing each assignment is to quietly kill the target in a single strike.
Cabba 加贝

Frost (フロスト Furosuto) is a member of the Frieza Race and emperor of Universe 6 (former emperor in the anime), being that universe's version of Frieza. In the anime, he became a wanted fugitive after revealing himself as a space pirate. He is erased due to the events of Tournament of Power after being betrayed by his Universe 7 counterpart, Frieza, but he is later revived with the rest of the contestants. Frost is a dirty fighter, who is extremely cunning and deceptive.

Botamo displays a rather confident attitude as he is extremely prideful in his abilities, however, his overconfidence in his abilities was his own downfall in both the Tournament of Destroyers and Tournament of Power. He shows more emotion when he lost to Goku and Gohan, crying in anguish. He also has a degree of sympathy, as he is seen patting Magetta on the back when he was insulted by Vegeta to attempt to make him feel better. Furthermore, it appears that Botamo and Magetta have a more friendly relationship and can cooperate very well together, as seen when they use a combo move to catch a ball batted by Gohan. This continues in the Tournament of Power, with Magetta saving Botamo from being ringed out by Vegeta, and the two teaming up to take on the Saiyan prince.

Auta Magetta 沃太·马盖塔

Auta Magetta (オッタ マゲッタ Otta Magetta) is a Metalman from Universe 6, a race that is said to also exist in Universe 7. Magetta is confident in his abilities. Like the rest of the Metalmen race, Magetta is very sensitive and is rendered unable to fight when insulted. This is shown when Vegeta calls Magetta a "pathetic pile of junk" during their match, making Magetta lose and cry afterward. Much like Majin Buu, he lacks academic intelligence like many other fighters. This is seen when he barely passed his exam required to participate in the tournament. He also seems to lack enough intellect to talk (in the Japanese version, his only lines are based on the syllables "choo-po" and nothing more; in the English dub, he says things like "Clankity clankity whir" and "Chugga chugga chugga spark"). However, he can perfectly understand what others say to him. He appears to have a very friendly or close relationship with Botamo, likely due to them both being the large fighters of Champa's team. This is evidenced when he and Botamo are able to perform a combo move and catch a ball batted by Gohan. Magetta saves Botamo from being eliminated by Vegeta, and Botamo covers Magetta's ears so he won't hear Vegeta's insults.
Referee “格斗试合”裁判
The Referee (レフェリー Referī) is the ring announcer for the Tournament of Destroyers. The Referee is green with black eyes and has an antenna on his head. He wears a black and red suit with white gloves and white boots. He resembles that of a Majin, with the antennae, peculiar color and earholes. The Referee has a rather eccentric personality. He judges the matches during the tournament fairly, not showing any bias towards any team. He doesn't tolerate any cheaters who break the rules of the tournament and use weapons in a match.
Galactic King 銀河王
The Galactic King (銀河ぎんが王おう Gingaō) is the king of the Milky Way Galaxy in Universe 7 and leader of the Galactic Patrol. The Galactic King is shown to be a just ruler of the Milky Way Galaxy of Universe 7. He is known to have saved Earth in the past from a giant asteroid once he became aware it was a thriving world with intelligent life, after Jiya countered the false report of a Galactic Patroller who had gone rogue. Additionally, when he had received word that a Saiyan child had been sent to Earth he sent Jaco to eliminate him before he could destroy the planet, though Jaco's mission ultimately failed due to him getting sidetracked during his adventures there which inadvertently led Jaco to meet Tights and the rest of her family.
Tights
Tights (タイツ Taitsu) is the first daughter of Dr. Brief and Bikini, as well as Bulma's older sister. Tights is shown to be interested in sci-fi and writing. She is also shown to be insecure due to graduating from a university at age sixteen. Like her younger sister, Tights can sometimes act in a bratty, bossy fashion, and can become violent when angered.
Singer
The Singer (歌手 Kashu) is the singer that sings the anthem of the inter-universe. Despite his small size his voice is surprisingly deep. The singer's physical appearance is that of a humanoid penguin, short in size, and is purple. He wears a red bow tie.
Zuno 祖诺

Zuno (ズノー Zunō), also known as Master Zuno (ズノー様 Zunō-sama) is a mysterious character who knows virtually everything to have ever happened in the Multiverse. Zuno possesses an over-sized head with a traditional Japanese chonmage hairstyle, commonly seen on samurai and sumo wrestlers. To go along with the over-sized head, he has large earlobes similar to most interpretations of the Buddha. He wears a yellow robe with a red jacket.
Zuno's Attendants
Zuno's Attendants (ズノーの付き人 Zunō no tsukibito) are a group of identical entities that serve Zuno. They possess the same appearance as Zuno, except with smaller proportions and wear different color jackets - specifically, one wears green, one wears blue, one wears purple, and one wears brown, respectively.

Zuno's Planet is a planet home to Zuno, an omniscient being who sees over the universe. Assisting him are several Attendants. Zuno's planet is in the living world, as opposed to the Other World. During the events of Dragon Ball Super, Bulma and Jaco visit the planet in order to gain information from Zuno about the Super Dragon Balls. At a later point, Zamasu also visits the planet seeking information about the Super Dragon Balls and also about Goku.
Geppuman
Geppuman (ゲップマン Geppuman) is a notorious diner and dasher who visits Zuno on his planet. Geppuman is a frog-like alien with red skin. He wears an outfit consisting of a scarred shoulder plate strapped to his pants. At some point in the past, Geppuman made his name by constantly eating at restaurants and then running away without paying. This apparently made him infamous enough to earn the Galactic Patrol's attention. Around seven years ago, Geppuman applied for an appointment to see Zuno in order to learn how to dine-and-dash without the risk of getting caught, and has been waiting ever since.
Grand Zeno 全王
全王，日本经典动漫《龙珠超》及其衍生作品中的角色。12个宇宙的最高统治者，万物之主。有权调换破坏神或界王神，可以让宇宙在一瞬间全部消失。原本一共有18个宇宙，其中的6个宇宙因惹怒全王已被全王消除。掌管十二宇宙的最尊贵强大的神，外表和说话语气都像小孩，语尾为“のね（none）”。过去曾有18个宇宙，其中6个宇宙后来因惹怒全王而被毁灭，才变成如今出现的12个宇宙。
Grand Zeno (全王 Zen’ō, lit. "King of All"), the Omni-King, is the supreme ruler of all the Multiverse and seemingly its most powerful being. Since the events of the "Future" Trunks Saga, Zeno co-rules jointly with his future counterpart.
Zeno's Attendants 全王的仆人
Zeno's Attendants (全王の付き人 Zen’ō no tsukibito) are a pair of tall identical entities that serve Zeno. In the anime version of the Universe Survival Saga a second identical pair of attendants appear to serve Future Zeno.
Super Shenron 超级神龙
超级神龙，日本漫画《龙珠超》及其衍生作品中的角色，为超级龙珠中的器灵神兽，拥有实现任何愿望的无上神力。超级神龙是由“超级龙珠”召唤而出的神兽，与普通神龙不同的是，超级神龙是通体呈金色的西方龙外形，全身闪烁着金黄色的光辉，长有一对巨大的蝙蝠双翼。超级神龙是宇宙级的神兽，实现愿望的局限远强于地球、那美克星的神龙。甚至可以恢复一切被神毁灭的宇宙世界。
Super Shenron (超スーパー神シェン龍ロン Sūpā Shenron, lit. "Super God/Divine Dragon") is the Eternal Dragon who appears when the Super Dragon Balls are gathered. In the English dub, it is said that this divine dragon is Zalama. Super Shenron is the Dragon of the Gods (神の龍 Kami no ryū). He was made when the Dragon God, Zalama, formed the Super Dragon Balls. To summon the Super Shenron, one must say the phrase, "Come forth, Dragon of the Gods, and grant my wish pretty peas!" ("Dragon of the Gods" is changed to "Divine Dragon" and "Pretty peas" is changed to "Peas and Carrots" in the Funimation dub) in the Divine Language. The wisher must also state their wish in the same language for Super Shenron to grant it.
Neko Majin
Neko Majin Z (ネコマジンZ Neko Majin Zetto) is one of the main protagonists in Akira Toriyama's one-shot manga Nekomajin. He also appears in the spin-off manga Dragon Ball Heroes: Victory Mission by Toyotarō.
Zeno's Palace
Zeno's Palace (全王ぜんおうさまの宮殿きゅうでん Zen-ō-sama no Kyūden, lit. "Palace of the King of All") exact location is unknown but it resides above a huge jellyfish that is located in between golden clouds and what appears to be outer space. It is also a separate location from the universes and very far away from them, with even the Angels, as stated by Whis, taking two whole days at full speed to do a one-way trip and four entire days for a single roundtrip, and being more reachable through teleportation, such as the Kai Kai used by the Supreme Kais. The palace where Zeno lives is located on the top of a huge jellyfish and it is in the shape of the kanji "全" that means "all". It also keeps floating. Around the castle there are twelve floating rocks that each has a Universe above them. The inside of the palace is a dark void (brightened by its glowing floor) with thousands of white pillars scattered around the place.
Zeno's Button
Zeno's Button is a teleportation device that would summon Zeno or Future Zeno to the location the user is at. On the other side there is another button where the user will be transported to Zeno. When Goku came to see Zeno, he invited him to come to Earth sometime, so Zeno gave him a button where Zeno would appear. Later in the Future timeline Goku thought he had another Senzu Bean only for it to turn out that it was Zeno's button. Goku used it to summon Future Zeno in order to erase Infinite Zamasu. Sometime later, Goku thought about reminding Zeno of the upcoming tournament. Beerus, however, was skeptical, even when Goku revealed the alternate button of teleporting himself to Zeno. Threatening to kill Goku, Goku tricked Beerus and teleported himself to Zeno.
