Dragon Ball Z is a Japanese anime television series produced by Toei Animation. Part of the Dragon Ball media franchise, it is the sequel to the 1986 Dragon Ball anime series and adapts the latter 325 chapters of the original Dragon Ball manga series created by Akira Toriyama. The series aired in Japan on Fuji TV from April 1989 to January 1996 and was later dubbed for broadcast in at least 81 countries worldwide. Dragon Ball Z continues the adventures of Goku in his adult life as he and his companions defend the Earth against villains including aliens (Vegeta, Frieza), androids (Cell), and magical creatures (Majin Buu). At the same time, the story parallels the life of his son, Gohan, as well as the development of his rivals, Piccolo and Vegeta. Due to the success of the anime in the United States, the manga chapters making up its story were initially released by Viz Media under the Dragon Ball Z title. The anime's popularity has also spawned numerous media and merchandise that has come to represent the majority of content within the Dragon Ball franchise. Dragon Ball Z remains a cultural icon through numerous adaptations and re-releases, including a remastered broadcast titled Dragon Ball Z Kai. Dragon Ball Z has since been followed by two sequel series: Dragon Ball GT (1996–1997) and Dragon Ball Super (2015–2018).

Trunks Saga
The Trunks Saga is the seventh saga of the Dragon Ball Z series. The manga volume that it is made up of is "Enter Trunks". It features Frieza's arrival on Earth, his death by the hands of Future Trunks, and Future Trunks' warning about the Androids. This small saga contains eight episodes and is placed between the Garlic Jr. Saga and the Androids Saga. This saga aired in 1992 in Japan, and in 2000 in the U.S.
人造人篇第118话~第139话
那美克星爆炸后，弗利萨兵团将他的残肢的修复，以机械弗利萨的身份重新脱胎换骨，为了向悟空复仇而来到地球。没想到出现来自未来的特兰克斯，并将弗利萨兵团全数消灭。未来的特兰克斯传达三年后黑绸军的人造人17号及18号破坏的事情，以及心脏病的解药后，战士们各自开始修行。三年后人造人19号和20号出现并且与悟空等人展开战斗，此时悟空因心脏病发而败退。19号被贝吉塔破坏，20号逃到研究所因为启动不听命的16号、17号和18号而丧命。

时空2（“未来时空”、“大特时空”）的特兰克斯（“未来特兰克斯”、“大特”）是最早登场的一个，性格沉稳，在《龙珠Z》人造人篇和《龙珠超》特兰克斯②篇作为核心角色之一，为了拯救未来而乘坐母亲布尔玛②发明的时光机穿越到主时空。
时空3（“沙鲁时空”）的特兰克斯③，虽使用紧急停止控制器打倒了人造人17③、18号③，但因为不知道沙鲁③的存在，最后被想要抢夺时光机器用来回到过去的沙鲁③(第一阶)所杀。之后沙鲁退化并乘坐这个时光机器来到主时空。

Future Trunks (未み来らいのトランクス Mirai no Torankusu) is a Saiyan-Earthling hybrid and the son of Vegeta and Bulma, both from an alternate future. By the time Present Trunks was born, the timeline had been drastically altered by Future Trunks' and Cell's trips to the past. Therefore, the two Trunks had completely different lives (as opposed to those who lived before the Time Machines arrived, who lived exactly the same lives as their counterparts until the point at which the two timelines diverge, three years before the androids arrived). Well-mannered, serious and very cautious, Trunks hails from an alternate timeline in which Future Androids 17 and 18 murdered the Dragon Team and proceeded to create an apocalyptic anarchy on Earth. Trunks is trained by Future Gohan as a teenager and becomes a gifted fighter, swordsman and a Super Saiyan, which are traits that aid him greatly in the battle against the Androids after traveling back in time in order to save his own future. More than 10 years later, Future Trunks would return in Dragon Ball Super, this time fighting against a mysterious entity referred to as Goku Black (and later his counterpart) wreaking havoc in the future. In the end, Trunks (with the help of Goku and Vegeta) neutralizes the threat, though unfortunately, Zamasu not only survives the ordeal, but he becomes an even bigger threat, to the point that Future Zeno was needed to erase him. Trunks himself is one of the three survivors and is currently living in another future timeline where another Future Trunks exists - created in the anime by Whis warning Future Beerus ahead of time to eliminate the soon-to-be rogue Supreme Kai, while in the manga Trunks and Mai travel to their timeline's past and prevent Future Shin's death with the blessing of Beerus as it will save his counterpart, thus eliminating the possibility of the Project Zero Mortals.
Mecha Frieza 弗利沙
弗利萨，日本漫画家鸟山明经典作品《龙珠》中的那美克星篇的主要反派角色，战斗力十分强大，大头目级人物。自称是最强的宇宙帝王，收服了大量的手下，所占领的资源丰富的星球超过百个，并借助外星高科技制造宇宙飞船用于军事侵略，挑选的部队都是精英战士。由于害怕超级赛亚人的出现，毁灭了贝吉塔行星，几乎令赛亚人灭绝。后来通过探测器听到了贝吉塔跟那巴的对话得知那美克星有龙珠可以实现愿望，便出发去那美克星夺取龙珠企图实现长生不老的愿望。但是在到达那美克星后不久，手下逐个被贝吉塔及孙悟空等人杀死，亲自出手时展示三段变身的能力让所有人感到绝望，由于杀死了克林令孙悟空极度愤怒觉醒变成超级赛亚人，经过一番激战终于被孙悟空打败。濒死之际被父亲库尔德王救回并被改造成机械形态，随后带着他父亲进攻地球，那个时候他的实力得了极大的提升。结果弗利萨和父亲以及带的士兵全部被未来特兰克斯杀死。艾纪779年，剧场版《龙珠Z：复活的F》中，弗利萨被其残党领导者索尔贝以及塔格玛用龙珠复活，复活后通过修炼变成黄金弗利萨，带领大军前往地球复仇。他与变身成超蓝的孙悟空展开激战，并一度压倒悟空，最后还是被孙悟空用龟派气功消灭。《龙珠超》宇宙生存篇中暂时复活并代表第7宇宙参战“力之大会”，最终第7宇宙取得胜利，弗利萨因比赛有功被天使维斯复活，后续在异次元空间修炼十年获得全新形态。
Frieza (フリーザ Furīza) is the main antagonist of the Dragon Ball series. He is the descendant of Chilled, the youngest son of King Cold, the younger brother of Cooler and the father of Kuriza. After inheriting Cold's imperialist army and rising to power as the emperor of Universe 7, Frieza quickly established himself as a cruel and ruthless tyrant, feared for his immense power. Ever since his invasion of Namek, Frieza has been the series' most recurring villain, clashing with his archnemesis Goku and his allies on several occasions, becoming even more powerful every time.
King Cold 库尔德王
库尔德王（コルド大王、King Cold），日本经典动漫《龙珠》及其衍生作品中的角色。宇宙最强大的战士之一，属于超级稀有的战斗种族，是古拉（不存在于正史）与弗利萨的父亲。那美克星大战之际，及时救回濒临死亡的弗利萨。一年后，和弗利萨一起到地球找超级赛亚人孙悟空报仇，却双双被未来特兰克斯杀死。
King Cold (コルド大だい王おう Korudo Daiō, lit. "Great King Cold") is the king and former emperor of Universe 7 as well as a shadow member of his family organization, the Frieza Force, leading it when it was known as the Cold Force. He is the father of Cooler and Frieza, as well as the grandfather of Kuriza. King Cold is the secondary antagonist of the Trunks Saga.
King Cold army Captain
This Captain is an unnamed human-like humanoid who works as a soldier in King Cold's interplanetary operations. His appearance is marked by the curious combination of blond hair coupled with a white beard. The captain is responsible for the discovery of what remains of Frieza, after his climactic battle with Super Saiyan Goku. He oversees the journey to Earth upon Frieza's recovery, where King Cold and Mecha Frieza intend to exact revenge on Goku. After Future Trunks interferes, however, this Captain and his comrades effortlessly fall victim to the youth from the future.
Fisshi
Fisshi (フィッシ Fisshi) is a soldier who works for King Cold in the Frieza Force. Fisshi is among the soldiers in King Cold's Spaceship when King Cold is searching through the debris of planet Namek, sometime after Frieza's defeat at the Super Saiyan's hands. Angered at the thought that his son could have been destroyed by a mere planet's explosion, King Cold telekinetically shatters the cockpit window, making Fisshi fall into space. Fisshi is later seen on Earth with King Cold and Mecha Frieza. He is killed at Northern Wastelands by Future Trunks along with the rest of King Cold's henchmen.
Iru
Iru (イール Īru) is a green fish-like soldier who works for King Cold in the Frieza Force. Iru was among the soldiers King Cold took with him to attack Earth. On Earth, Mecha Frieza asks him to kill Future Trunks. Iru scans Trunks with his scouter, stating that his power level is only 5 (because Trunks suppressed his true power to mislead Frieza and King Cold), before charging his Ray Gun and blasting Trunks. Future Trunks deflected Iru's blast and easily killed him with one punch.
Mei
Mei (メーイ Mēi) is a fish-like soldier who works for King Cold in the Frieza Force. A similar soldier first appeared in "Another Super Saiyan?", and this type of soldier was named in Dragon Ball Z III: Ressen Jinzōningen.
Malaka
Malaka (ドクター Dokutā) is a doctor on Planet Vegeta. He is mostly seen monitoring newborn babies and injured warriors as they heal in the Medical Machine. Malaka a green-skinned, reptilian alien with an orange Mohawk.
Mr. Shu
Mr. Shu (周災悪 （しゅうさいあく） Shū Sai'aku) is a tutor that Chi-Chi hires for Gohan during a filler episode in the Trunks Saga. Mr. Shu clads himself in a traditional Chinese Kung Fu garb consisting of a bluish-purple and white tangzhuang (Chinese jacket), reddish-wine pants, black shoes, and and semi-circular glasses with yellow frames. His face and hairstyle resembles Pamput, though Shu wears glasses, has a lighter skin tone, and a mustache.
Cynthia
Cynthia (シンシア Shinshia) is one of the teachers at the hovercar training facility in which Goku and Piccolo attended.
Yuzukar
Yuzukar (ユズカー Yuzukā) is one of the teachers at the hovercar training facility in which Goku and Piccolo attended. Yuzukar is a balding, sickly looking old man with large eyebrows and a large mustache. He wears a purple suit with a front pocket, featuring the Capsule Corp. logo. Underneath he has a white shirt and a red tie.
