Dragon Ball Z is a Japanese anime television series produced by Toei Animation. Part of the Dragon Ball media franchise, it is the sequel to the 1986 Dragon Ball anime series and adapts the latter 325 chapters of the original Dragon Ball manga series created by Akira Toriyama. The series aired in Japan on Fuji TV from April 1989 to January 1996 and was later dubbed for broadcast in at least 81 countries worldwide. Dragon Ball Z continues the adventures of Goku in his adult life as he and his companions defend the Earth against villains including aliens (Vegeta, Frieza), androids (Cell), and magical creatures (Majin Buu). At the same time, the story parallels the life of his son, Gohan, as well as the development of his rivals, Piccolo and Vegeta. Due to the success of the anime in the United States, the manga chapters making up its story were initially released by Viz Media under the Dragon Ball Z title. The anime's popularity has also spawned numerous media and merchandise that has come to represent the majority of content within the Dragon Ball franchise. Dragon Ball Z remains a cultural icon through numerous adaptations and re-releases, including a remastered broadcast titled Dragon Ball Z Kai. Dragon Ball Z has since been followed by two sequel series: Dragon Ball GT (1996–1997) and Dragon Ball Super (2015–2018).

Namek Saga
The Namek Saga is the third saga from the Dragon Ball Z series. It is the first part of the Frieza Saga under Funimation's naming scheme. The manga volumes that it is made up of are "Dragon Ball in Space" and "Battlefield Namek". Its name is derived from the story arc revolving around the homeworld of the creatures on Earth believed to be demons, such as Kami and King Piccolo. It covers the trip and arrival to planet Namek, a fictional planet from the series, of Bulma, Krillin, and Gohan. The saga also covers the battles the Earth warriors and Vegeta face against Zarbon and Dodoria, Frieza's top two henchmen. Nearing the end of the chapter, it covers the arrival of Goku on Namek to aid his allies and the beginning of the fight against the Ginyu Force. The Namek Saga comes after the Vegeta Saga and precedes the Captain Ginyu Saga. This saga aired in Japan in 1990. It is the first part of U.S. season 2. This saga comprises the first half of the Funimation Season Two Remastered Box Set, except for the first 4 episodes which were included in the Season One Box Set, the last 6 episodes of the first Dragon Ball Z Dragon Box, and the first part of the Dragon Box Funimation Dragon Ball Z Dragon Box Z Volume 2 Set.
那美克星篇第036话~第74话
由于短笛和天神死亡的缘故，地球上的七龙珠已经变成了石头。于是布尔玛、悟饭、小林为了让同伴们起死回生而前往那美克星。途中遇到假的那美克星球，以及外星人小孩，布尔玛等人通过小孩口述得知前往那美克星球的捷径，顺路抵达目的地。但是贝吉塔和弗利萨同样也在各自寻找七龙珠，在那美克星球经历一番七龙珠争夺战之后，悟饭、丹丹(天天)、小林等人成功夺取七龙珠。

萨博，日本经典动漫《龙珠》及其衍生作品中的角色，是弗利萨的得力干将，可以通过变身来增强实力，最终于那美克星死于贝吉塔之手。注重外在形象，表面温文尔雅，实则内心异常残忍无情，常年辅佐弗利萨为害一方。
Zarbon (ザーボン Zābon) is a member of the Frieza Force. He is a cunning warrior who serves alongside Dodoria as one of Frieza's top two highest ranking Generals and right-hand men. Zarbon is an elite warrior who values beauty and his physical appearance above all else. He is considered to be very handsome. He has long green braided hair and his tiara and earrings are reminiscent of his previous status as a high-class prince. He is very vain, and he considers himself to be of the highest standard due to his background and his good looks. His light blue skin and golden eyes indicate his reptilian alien ancestry. He also wears a long light blue cape, as well as pink arm warmers, blue leg warmers, and blue underwear. Along with his choice of clothing, he wears the common armor that most of Frieza's military men have, including the shoulder pads and a blue scouter.
Dodoria 多多利亚
多多利亚，日本经典动漫《龙珠》及其衍生作品中的角色，和萨博一样，都是弗利萨的随从，曾参与毁灭贝吉塔行星，目睹了弗利萨毁灭贝吉塔行星的过程！后跟随弗利萨到那美克星收集龙珠，残忍地杀害了许多那美克星人，最后死于贝吉塔之手。性格粗心大意，脾气暴躁。
Dodoria (ドドリア Dodoria) is a member of the Frieza Force. He is a ruthless warrior that serves alongside Zarbon as one of Frieza's top two highest ranking Generals and right-hand men. Dodoria is a large and pink alien warrior with protruding spikes on his arms and head. He also wears a blue variant of the common Battle Armor that most of Frieza's men have, including the brown colored shoulder pads and a green scouter. In the manga, Dodoria has only three fingers per hand while he has more human-like four fingers and a thumb in the anime.
Cui 邱夷
邱夷，日本经典动漫《龙珠》及其衍生作品中的角色，首次登场是在弗利萨行星79号。弗利萨的手下，自以为能解决贝吉塔，但最后被贝吉塔轻易杀掉。
Cui (キュイ Kyui) is an elite soldier who serves under Frieza in the Frieza Force. Cui is an indigo-skinned, scaly, fish-faced alien. With the exception of his boots being green, he wears the common Battle Armor.
Appule
Appule (アプール Apūru) is an alien antagonist in the Dragon Ball series. He is a mid-ranking soldier in Frieza's army, with higher intelligence and power, above the unnamed Frieza Soldiers in ranks, but lower than Zarbon, Dodoria, and Cui. Appule is a purple alien, with some yellow spots on his body and also has yellow spots on his large long head while he doesn't seem to possess a nose. He wears the traditional battle armor but has never been seen wearing a scouter.
Dende 丹迪
丹迪（デンデ，Dende），日本经典动漫《龙珠》及其衍生作品中的角色，和神仙以及比克大魔王一样，丹迪也是那美克星人。初次登场是在弗利萨篇，是小林和悟饭将他从弗利萨的魔掌中救了出来，所以他们成了朋友。后来，他被弗利萨杀死，但是由于龙珠，他又再次复活了。神仙和短笛合体后，他成了地球的神仙，并且制造出更强的龙珠。他不是像短笛那样的战斗型的那美克星人，但是他能治愈任何类型的伤口。
Dende (デンデ Dende) is a Namekian with a unique gift that allows him to heal others. He is the 108th son of Grand Elder Guru. On Goku's request, Dende becomes the Earth's Guardian in Kami's place. He continues his role as Guardian for the rest of the series, helping the protagonists during their adventures whenever he can.
Nail 内鲁
内鲁，日本漫画及改编动画《龙珠》系列的角色，那美克星唯一的战斗型那美克星人，也是大长老的护卫。在弗利萨来到那美克星屠杀同胞的时候，苦于要保护大长老而不能前去救援。后来奉大长老之命去帮助克林和悟饭。然而由于弗利萨的突然来袭而中途返回，为了拖延时间，和弗利萨展开大战。虽然最终被弗利萨轻易打败，但他还是为悟饭、克林和丹迪赢得了使用龙珠许愿的宝贵时间。被弗利萨打的奄奄一息的内鲁最后和比克同化（合为一体）。
Nail (ネイル Neiru) is a Namekian described as the 'lone' Warrior-type Namekian left when he first appeared in the manga. He is the personal bodyguard to Grand Elder Guru, and is incredibly strong for a Namekian. In fact, he was the most powerful Namekian alive at the time of Frieza's attack on Namek. He would later fuse with Piccolo, meaning he would continue to hold the title of the most powerful Namekian, as he was part of Piccolo's immense strength.
Guru 大长老

Guru (最さい長ちょう老ろう Saichōrō, lit. "The Highest Elder") is the oldest and wisest remaining Namekian in existence at the time of his appearance. As the creator of the Namekian Dragon Balls, Guru's death would cause them to become inert, unless he passes down his authority to someone else.
Moori
Moori (ムーリ Mūri) is the elder of a Namekian village who becomes the grand elder of New Namek after Grand Elder Guru's death. He is also the brother of Tsuno, Nail, Dende, Cargo, and Esca.
Tsuno
Tsuno (ツーノ長老 Tsūno Chōrō) is the Namekian village elder that Vegeta confronts and kills for the Four-Star Namekian Dragon Ball. He is the second eldest Namekian after his father, Grand Elder Guru.
Cargo
Cargo (カルゴ Karugo) is a Namekian and the 109th son of Grand Elder Guru. He lived with and was incredibly close to his older brother Dende.
Raiti
Raiti (ライチ Raichi) is an alien who appears in the Dragon Ball Z anime. Raiti is a pinkish orange alien.
Zaacro
Zaacro (ザークロ Zākuro) is an alien who appears in the Dragon Ball Z anime. Zaacro is a pink alien.
Zeshin
Zeshin (ゼシン) is an extraterrestrial boy. Zeshin is very dedicated to his crew, and will make sure nothing puts them in harm's way, much like he did when Bulma, Krillin and Gohan arrived on his spaceship. However, he can learn to trust outsiders if given proof.
Emi
Emi (エミー Emī) is one of the children traveling in the Mirror Spaceship that Krillin, Bulma, and Gohan meet during their travel to Namek in the episode "Held Captive".
Bun
Bun (ブン) is an extraterrestrial boy. Bun is a member of a colony of vagabond youths led by Zeshin who travel space in an "invisible" ship after Frieza orders the destruction of their home planet. During this attack, Bun is almost killed by Frieza's henchman Cui (this is likely the reason why he has a bandage on his face). While Bulma, Krillin, and Gohan are traveling en route to Namek, they are intercepted by the orphans' invisible spaceship, where at first, they are reluctant to believe that the Earthlings are not involved in Frieza's empire. Bun eventually learns to trust the group when they work to save the colony from being engulfed by an asteroid field, as he realizes that if the three had allegiance to Frieza, they would not have worked to save the children from being wiped out. The gang later helps Bun and his comrades land on a planet and watch their allies leave for Namek. Deciding to put everything behind them Bun decides to train hard help his friends. To show this he takes off his bandage revealing the scar from the wound given to him by Cui.
Plant Frieza No. 79 Malaka's Race Doctor
On Planet Frieza 79, the Malaka lookalike medic was in charge of healing Vegeta in the Medical Machine after his defeat on Earth. After Vegeta was healed, the doctor was shocked at the excessive damage to the armor that occurred during the Saiyan's visit to Earth. When Vegeta rushes to his pod to go to Namek, he runs into this Malaka's race doctor holding a scouter, which the defecting Saiyan takes reluctantly. Still on Planet Frieza 79, the doctor and other soldiers were monitoring the battle between Goku as a Super Saiyan and Frieza. However, the machines could not handle Goku's power level (after reading Frieza's) and exploded over all the soldiers who were in the room alongside this medic.
Banan
Banan (バナン) and Sūi (スーイ) are two humanoid aliens who work together as foot soldiers in the Frieza Force. While on Namek, they acted as Frieza's Reconnaissance Team.
The appearance of Banan is marked by lilac-pigmented skin, horns, orange hair with a mustache and a blue scouter adorned over his face.
Sūi
Banan (バナン) and Sūi (スーイ) are two humanoid aliens who work together as foot soldiers in the Frieza Force. While on Namek, they acted as Frieza's Reconnaissance Team.
Sūi has purple-pigmented skin, a fin atop his head, a skull-like nose and wears a red scouter, which his Ray Gun connects to.
Raspberry
Raspberry (ラーズベリ Rāzuberi) is a soldier of the Frieza Force. Raspberry sports the same garb as most members of the Frieza Force, though with a helmet and a blaster attached to his arm that he uses as a weapon. He wears a purple undersuit.
Orlen
Orlen (オーレン Ōren) is one of Frieza's soldiers on Namek who only appears in the anime. He is the same race as Appule, except he is yellow with large fangs, no spots on his body, and red eyes.
Blueberry
Blueberry (ブールベリ Būruberi) is a foot soldier in the Frieza Force. Blueberry is an alligator/crocodile-like humanoid. He has yellow eyes, and dark green skin. He wears a white helmet with two spikes extruding on his head and wears blue Frieza Force Battle Armor, with light tan shoulder plates and stomach plate. He is equipped with an Arm Cannon.
Napple
Napple (ナップル Nappuru) is a soldier in the Frieza Force. Napple was among the soldiers Frieza took with him on Namek. In Moori's village, he taunts the three Warrior-type Namekians by saying they would be better off fighting old grannies. He takes part in the charge against the Namekians, only to be kicked in the face by one of the Namekian Warriors, sending him flying past where Frieza, Zarbon and Dodoria are. He crashes through a tree and becomes embedded in a cliff. Napple attacks the Namekian who Krumbo attempted to defeat, however warrior grabs him and powerfully throws Napple into the ground, causing him to smash into it and presumably killing him (if he survived this, he most certainly died when Frieza caused the destruction of Namek).
Krumbo
Krumbo (クランボ Kuranbo) is a soldier in the Frieza Force who fought at the battle at Moori's village. He first appeared in "Namek's Defense". In the manga, Krumbo leads the charge against the Namekian warriors, an unnamed recolor takes his place in the anime. During the battle at Moori's village, Krumbo attacks one of the Namekian warriors with a heavy punch but the Namek blocks it. Krumbo is killed soon after.
Frog-Face
Frog-Face (惑星わくせい戦士せんしDディー Wakusei senshi dī) is a soldier in the Frieza Force.Frog-Face is a purple-red-headed, reddish-pink-skinned humanoid dilophosaurus-like alien. He was shown giving Frieza a Dragon Ball in one of the first episodes Frieza appeared in. He is the same alien race as Goose, who appeared later in the saga. In the Ocean dub, Frieza refers to him as "my little frog-faced warrior", and he is also named "Frog-Face" in the Frieza Saga card set from the collectible card game. He is killed when one of the three Namekian warriors deflects an energy blasts from another soldier in different directions, and one of the blasts ricochets and fries him to death.
Cranberry
Cranberry (クランベリ Kuranberi) was a soldier of the Frieza Force until he deserted. Cranberry is a humanoid alien who bears a resemblance to Namole and Fisshi, sporting the same hairdo as them. His dressings resemble those of Raspberry.
Nameless Namekian's Spaceship
Nameless Namekian's Spaceship is the ship that the Nameless Namekian used to travel to Earth during an epidemic on the Planet Namek. Later, it is used by Bulma, Krillin, and Gohan to fly from Earth to Namek.

Bun eventually learns to trust the group when they work to save the colony from being engulfed by an asteroid field, as he realizes that if the three had allegiance to Frieza, they would not have worked to save the children from being wiped out. The gang later helps Bun and his comrades land on a planet and watch their allies leave for Namek. Deciding to put everything behind them Bun decides to train hard help his friends. To show this he takes off his bandage revealing the scar from the wound given to him by Cui.
Plant Frieza No. 79 Malaka's Race Doctor
On Planet Frieza 79, the Malaka lookalike medic was in charge of healing Vegeta in the Medical Machine after his defeat on Earth. After Vegeta was healed, the doctor was shocked at the excessive damage to the armor that occurred during the Saiyan's visit to Earth. When Vegeta rushes to his pod to go to Namek, he runs into this Malaka's race doctor holding a scouter, which the defecting Saiyan takes reluctantly. Still on Planet Frieza 79, the doctor and other soldiers were monitoring the battle between Goku as a Super Saiyan and Frieza. However, the machines could not handle Goku's power level (after reading Frieza's) and exploded over all the soldiers who were in the room alongside this medic.
Banan
Banan (バナン) and Sūi (スーイ) are two humanoid aliens who work together as foot soldiers in the Frieza Force. While on Namek, they acted as Frieza's Reconnaissance Team.
The appearance of Banan is marked by lilac-pigmented skin, horns, orange hair with a mustache and a blue scouter adorned over his face.
Sūi
Banan (バナン) and Sūi (スーイ) are two humanoid aliens who work together as foot soldiers in the Frieza Force. While on Namek, they acted as Frieza's Reconnaissance Team.
Sūi has purple-pigmented skin, a fin atop his head, a skull-like nose and wears a red scouter, which his Ray Gun connects to.
Raspberry
Raspberry (ラーズベリ Rāzuberi) is a soldier of the Frieza Force. Raspberry sports the same garb as most members of the Frieza Force, though with a helmet and a blaster attached to his arm that he uses as a weapon. He wears a purple undersuit.
Orlen
Orlen (オーレン Ōren) is one of Frieza's soldiers on Namek who only appears in the anime. He is the same race as Appule, except he is yellow with large fangs, no spots on his body, and red eyes.
Blueberry
Blueberry (ブールベリ Būruberi) is a foot soldier in the Frieza Force. Blueberry is an alligator/crocodile-like humanoid. He has yellow eyes, and dark green skin. He wears a white helmet with two spikes extruding on his head and wears blue Frieza Force Battle Armor, with light tan shoulder plates and stomach plate. He is equipped with an Arm Cannon.
Napple
Napple (ナップル Nappuru) is a soldier in the Frieza Force. Napple was among the soldiers Frieza took with him on Namek. In Moori's village, he taunts the three Warrior-type Namekians by saying they would be better off fighting old grannies. He takes part in the charge against the Namekians, only to be kicked in the face by one of the Namekian Warriors, sending him flying past where Frieza, Zarbon and Dodoria are. He crashes through a tree and becomes embedded in a cliff. Napple attacks the Namekian who Krumbo attempted to defeat, however warrior grabs him and powerfully throws Napple into the ground, causing him to smash into it and presumably killing him (if he survived this, he most certainly died when Frieza caused the destruction of Namek).
Krumbo
Krumbo (クランボ Kuranbo) is a soldier in the Frieza Force who fought at the battle at Moori's village. He first appeared in "Namek's Defense". In the manga, Krumbo leads the charge against the Namekian warriors, an unnamed recolor takes his place in the anime. During the battle at Moori's village, Krumbo attacks one of the Namekian warriors with a heavy punch but the Namek blocks it. Krumbo is killed soon after.
Frog-Face
Frog-Face (惑星わくせい戦士せんしDディー Wakusei senshi dī) is a soldier in the Frieza Force.Frog-Face is a purple-red-headed, reddish-pink-skinned humanoid dilophosaurus-like alien. He was shown giving Frieza a Dragon Ball in one of the first episodes Frieza appeared in. He is the same alien race as Goose, who appeared later in the saga. In the Ocean dub, Frieza refers to him as "my little frog-faced warrior", and he is also named "Frog-Face" in the Frieza Saga card set from the collectible card game. He is killed when one of the three Namekian warriors deflects an energy blasts from another soldier in different directions, and one of the blasts ricochets and fries him to death.
Cranberry
Cranberry (クランベリ Kuranberi) was a soldier of the Frieza Force until he deserted. Cranberry is a humanoid alien who bears a resemblance to Namole and Fisshi, sporting the same hairdo as them. His dressings resemble those of Raspberry.
Nameless Namekian's Spaceship
Nameless Namekian's Spaceship is the ship that the Nameless Namekian used to travel to Earth during an epidemic on the Planet Namek. Later, it is used by Bulma, Krillin, and Gohan to fly from Earth to Namek.
