Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods (ドラゴンボールＺゼット 神かみと神かみ Doragon Bōru Zetto Kami to Kami, lit. Dragon Ball Z: God and God) is the eighteenth Dragon Ball movie and the fourteenth under the Dragon Ball Z brand. It premiered in Japanese theaters on March 30, 2013. It is the first animated Dragon Ball movie in seventeen years to have a theatrical release since the tenth-anniversary movie Dragon Ball: The Path to Power in 1996. The film was released in several countries outside Japan in the late summer and fall of 2013. The Philippines, Hong Kong, and South Korea premiered the film in August, while Latin America released the film between September and October 2013. In North American theaters, the film was released for eight days, between August 5–12, 2014. The movie is the first part of the Gods of the Universe Saga. The events of the movie were later adapted and modified into the God of Destruction Beerus Saga of Dragon Ball Super.

Timeline placement
The movie takes place four years after Kid Buu's defeat, six years before the 28th World Martial Arts Tournament, in Age 778 according to the 2013 exhibition The World of Dragon Ball. It also takes place after the events of Dragon Ball: The Return of Son Goku and Friends!, which is set two years after Kid Buu's defeat, as Bulma references Tarble, the younger brother of Vegeta who the Z Fighters and their friends met in the special. As a continuation of the manga, its events take place between the manga chapters 517 and 518.

Son Goku 孙悟空
(日语：孫悟空；英语：Son Goku)，是鸟山明的原作漫画《龙珠》及其改编原作系列中登场的虚构角色与主角，名字来自中国古典神怪小说《西游记》的“孙悟空”。“孙”是姓，“悟空”是名。由养育之父孙悟饭授予，其赛亚人本名为:卡卡罗特。其他纯种赛亚人直接称之为卡卡罗特。名字的由来是从红萝卜（胡萝卜）。与他的爱妻琪琪一起生下的长子的名字，是当年拉拔悟空长大的爷爷，孙悟饭的名字。 Son Goku is a Saiyan raised on Earth and the overall main protagonist of the Dragon Ball series. He is Bardock and Gine's youngest son, the husband of Chi-Chi, and the father of Gohan and Goten. Son Goku is a fictional character and the main protagonist of the Dragon Ball manga series created by Akira Toriyama. He is based on Sun Wukong (known as Son Goku in Japan and Monkey King in the West), a main character of the classic 16th-century Chinese novel Journey to the West, combined with influences from the Hong Kong martial arts films of Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee. Originally sent to Earth by his parents as an infant, Kakarot was adopted by Grandpa Gohan and given the name Son Goku. A head injury at an early age altered Goku's memory, ridding him of his initial destructive nature and allowing him to grow up to become one of Earth's greatest defenders. Goku constantly strives and trains to be the greatest warrior possible, which has kept the Earth and the universe safe from destruction multiple times.
Son Gohan 孙悟饭

Son Gohan (孫そん悟ご飯はん Son Gohan, Japanese pronunciation: [sõŋgohãɴ]) is a half-breed Saiyan and one of the most prominent characters in the Dragon Ball series. He is the elder son of the series' primary protagonist Goku and his wife Chi-Chi, the older brother of Goten, the husband of Videl and father to Pan. He is named after Goku's adoptive grandfather, Gohan. Unlike his father, Gohan is a brilliant scholar and lacks a passion for fighting, preferring to do so only when his loved ones are threatened. Nevertheless, he spends much of his life participating in the defense of Earth, often helping to turn the tides when the dormant depths of his power are unleashed
Piccolo 比克
比克（日文名：ピッコロ、英文名：Piccolo），日本漫画《龙珠》及其衍生作品中的角色，Z战士之一。由古川登志夫配音。来自那美克星的那美克星人，曾是企图征服世界的邪恶大魔王，将孙悟空视为宿敌，但随着孙悟空、孙悟饭父子对其之影响，内心逐渐产生改变，最终改邪归正并保护地球。 Piccolo (ピッコロ, Pikkoro) is the spawn of King Piccolo, created to get revenge on Goku in the wake of his death, and subsequently assumes the role as the "evil half" of Kami. However, after being narrowly defeated by Goku, he must team up with him and his friends when opposing the invading Saiyans, including training Goku's son Gohan. He is later revealed to be a Namekian—a green-skinned, four-fingered, hairless humanoid species who created the series' titular Dragon Balls. He dies sacrificing himself to protect Gohan during the fight against the Saiyan Nappa, and trains in the afterlife under King Kai before being wished back to life by the Namekian Dragon Balls. While he temporarily maintains the partnership during the fights with Frieza and the Androids, by the time of the Cell and Majin Buu arcs he accepts the fact they are allies.
Krillin 克林
(クリリン；英语：Kuririn)，是日本漫画作家鸟山明在集英社《周刊少年Jump》连载的《龙珠》虚构角色。一颗光头，没有鼻子，矮小的身材，克林是一个造型简单的人物。作者的创作初衷似乎在设计一位标准的小和尚，向功夫的泰斗少林寺致敬。初登场的克林是悟空在龟仙流的同门师兄弟，也可以说是竞争对手。当时他给人的印象是坏坏的，老是想歪点子赢过悟空，而且还有些好色，和师傅龟仙人臭味相投。不过随着故事的发展，克林的性格逐渐变得和悟空一样正义而单纯（据声优推测是受悟空的影响吧），并且是在爱情上专一的好男人。他被弗利萨杀害时，悟空极度愤怒而变身为传说中的战士超级赛亚人。他在爱情上的付出也有所回报，娶到了心目中的女神18号。雅木茶则认为克林是最强的地球人。以上种种，均可见作者对这一角色之青睐。 Krillin (クリリン, Kuririn) is a bald martial artist and one of Goku's best friends and classmates. He and Goku are under the tutelage of Master Roshi; initially his rival but later a friend, and a loyal companion in adventures thereafter. He is killed by King Piccolo's spawn Tambourine, but is later revived by Shenron. After the fight with the Saiyans, he travels to Planet Namek, where he is killed by Frieza. After being brought back to life again by the Namekian Dragon Balls, he helps out during the Android and Cell arcs. He is married to Android 18 and has a daughter, Marron (マーロン, Māron).
Marron
Marron (マーロン Māron) is the daughter of Krillin and Android 18. As a baby and little girl, she resembles her father: she has his eye shape and lack of nose. In Dragon Ball Super, Marron's appearance remains largely the same but her hairstyle was changed from pigtails to a mushroom-style haircut. She also wears earrings. Despite being seven in Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods, Marron has not grown. Likely due to her father's genetics, Marron's growth was delayed.

Vegeta (ベジータ Bejīta), more specifically Vegeta IV (ベジータ四世 Bejīta Yonsei), recognized as Prince Vegeta (ベジータ王子 Bejīta Ōji), is the prince of the fallen Saiyan race and the husband of Bulma, the father of Trunks and Bulla, the eldest son of King Vegeta, as well as one of the main characters of the Dragon Ball series. Regal, egotistical, and full of pride, Vegeta was once a ruthless, cold-blooded warrior and outright killer, but later abandoned his position in the Frieza Force for a peaceful life on Earth. He would repeatedly fight alongside Universe 7's most powerful warriors in order to protect Earth and his family, as well as to surpass Goku in power. Vegeta's strong character development has received high praise and is regarded as the biggest in the series. He initially debuted as the main antagonist of the Vegeta Saga, but progressed into a more anti-heroic tritagonist role for the rest of Dragon Ball Z. Since the Majin Buu Saga and going into Dragon Ball Super, Vegeta has been the main deuteragonist/secondary protagonist behind Goku.
Master Roshi 龟仙人

He trained Grandpa Gohan and Ox-King, Goku, and Krillin, and a few others. He is often accompanied by his talking sea turtle companion, Umigame (ウミガメ, "Sea Turtle"), who often tries to point out his flaws. Master Roshi was trained by Master Mutaito (武泰斗), who also trained his cohorts-turned-rival Tsuru-Sen'nin (鶴仙人, "Crane Hermit"); he has also received additional training from Korin. When he appears anonymously in the World Martial Arts Tournament, Master Roshi uses the name "Jackie Chun" (ジャッキー・チュン, Jakkī Chun), wears a wig, and discards his sunglasses.

Kame 乌龟
Turtle (ウミガメ Umigame, lit. "Sea Turtle") is Master Roshi's friend and long-time companion. The good-natured, lovable turtle lives in Kame House with the elderly hermit.
Bulma 布马

Bulma (ブルマ, Buruma) first appears as a teenager using the Dragon Radar, a fictional device she created to detect the energy signal emitted by Dragon Balls. She is led to Goku's location by the signal emitted by the four-star ball in his possession and recruits him as a bodyguard while hoping to get his four-star ball to grant her wish for a boyfriend. She gives up on the wish after meeting Yamcha, and much later in the series, she marries Vegeta. Bulma has also assumed the role of inventor and has consistently provided critical tech support to Goku and his friends in their battles against various enemies and threats throughout the series. Some of her notable innovations include a microband that could make her shrink and a time machine that brought her son from an alternate future timeline, Trunks, to the past on multiple occasions.
Chi-Chi 琪琪

Chi-Chi (チチ) is Goku's wife, Gohan and Goten's mother, and Pan's grandmother. She and Goku first meet as children when her father, the Ox-King, asks Goku to take her to Master Roshi's house. In a misunderstanding, Goku promises to marry her. Years later, she confronts him about his promise at the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament, and they get married. As the matriarch of the family, she is depicted as being overprotective of Gohan's well-being and wishes to interrupt Goku's lifestyle of fighting and constant conflict. She relaxes her stance with her younger son Goten, even training him herself.
Tenshinhan 天津饭
天津饭，日本经典动漫《龙珠》及其衍生作品中的角色，Z战士之一。因为是宇宙人·三目人和地球人的混血后裔，所以他最显著的特征是有三只眼睛，这使得他可以看到最快的速度、魔族的气息和残像拳，孙悟空普通的龟派气功也对他没有效果。他也是许多招数的发明者，例如太阳拳和新气功炮。尽管在故事后期中他只是一个配角，也死过两次，但是他仍然是一个强大的战士，也拥有很独特的魅力。
(天津飯テンシンハン), named Tien Shinhan in the Funimation anime dub and also known as Shinto in the Harmony Gold dub, is first introduced, having been trained by Master Roshi's rival Master Shen, trying to kill Goku and his fellow-students. Later, he and Chiaotzu become their allies, fighting against King Piccolo's minion until Goku arrives. In the fight with the Saiyans, Tien Shinhan dies of exhaustion against Nappa. He trains in the afterlife under King Kai before being revived by the Namekian Dragon Balls. Tien Shinhan helps out during the battles against the Androids and Cell, but for the most part does not participate in fighting until Frieza's return and later the Tournament of Power.

Chiaotzu is first introduced at the 22nd World Martial Arts Tournament, having been trained by Master Roshi's rival Master Shen, trying to kill Goku and his fellow-students. After Tien Shinhan decides that Master Shen's teachings are wrong, the two leave him and join Goku and his companions to defeat King Piccolo. After assisting Tien Shinhan and Master Roshi in finding the Dragon Balls, Chiaotzu is killed by King Piccolo while trying to thwart his wish for eternal youth, but is later revived using the Dragon Balls. In the battle against the Saiyans, he ineffectively self-destructs on Nappa in order to save Tien Shinhan. He trains in the afterlife under King Kai before being revived by the Namekian Dragon Balls. Chiaotzu joins the other characters when they gather for Frieza's return, but Trunks kills Frieza before a fight ensues. Chiaotzu is generally no longer involved in battle from that point onwards, although he continues to train with Tien Shinhan.
Yamcha 饮茶
（日文名：ヤムチャ、英文名：Yamcha、又译：饮茶），日本经典动漫《龙珠》及其衍生作品中的角色，Z战士之一。该角色根据中国饮品”饮茶“命名，由古谷彻配音。原为沙漠中的强盗，由于机缘巧合结识孙悟空与布尔玛等人，并改邪归正，且成为龟仙流的弟子之一。起初与布尔玛为男女朋友，后因花心与布尔玛分手。“比克大魔王篇”后，渐渐退居二线。后期则完全放弃武道家的身份，将兴趣转移至棒球之上。 Yamcha (ヤムチャ, Yamucha), known as Zedaki in the Harmony Gold dub, is introduced as a desert bandit alongside his companion Puar, trying to steal Goku and Bulma's Dragon Balls. He becomes nervous when near women. He eventually becomes Goku's ally, starts a relationship with Bulma, and later becomes a pupil of Master Roshi. His signature attack is the Rōgafūfūken (狼牙風風拳, "Fist of the Wolf Fang", renamed to "Wolf Fang Fist" in the Funimation dub), a physical barrage of punches and palm strikes, ending with a double palm strike. As a result of training under Master Roshi, Yamcha is able to perform the Kamehameha and develops the Sōkidan (繰気弾, "Spinning Chi Bullet"), an energy sphere directed by psychokinesis. He also later trains under Kami to prepare for the impending Saiyan invasion, but is killed by one of their Saibamen. Before being wished back to life by the Namekian Dragon Balls, he trained under King Kai in the afterlife. He remains as a regular member of the Dragon Team, but gradually becomes less active later in the series. （日文名：ヤムチャ、英文名：Yamcha、又译：饮茶），日本经典动漫《龙珠》及其衍生作品中的角色，Z战士之一。该角色根据中国饮品”饮茶“命名，由古谷彻配音。原为沙漠中的强盗，由于机缘巧合结识孙悟空与布尔玛等人，并改邪归正，且成为龟仙流的弟子之一。起初与布尔玛为男女朋友，后因花心与布尔玛分手。“比克大魔王篇”后，渐渐退居二线。后期则完全放弃武道家的身份，将兴趣转移至棒球之上。 Yamcha (ヤムチャ, Yamucha), known as Zedaki in the Harmony Gold dub, is introduced as a desert bandit alongside his companion Puar, trying to steal Goku and Bulma's Dragon Balls. He becomes nervous when near women. He eventually becomes Goku's ally, starts a relationship with Bulma, and later becomes a pupil of Master Roshi. His signature attack is the Rōgafūfūken (狼牙風風拳, "Fist of the Wolf Fang", renamed to "Wolf Fang Fist" in the Funimation dub), a physical barrage of punches and palm strikes, ending with a double palm strike. As a result of training under Master Roshi, Yamcha is able to perform the Kamehameha and develops the Sōkidan (繰気弾, "Spinning Chi Bullet"), an energy sphere directed by psychokinesis. He also later trains under Kami to prepare for the impending Saiyan invasion, but is killed by one of their Saibamen. Before being wished back to life by the Namekian Dragon Balls, he trained under King Kai in the afterlife. He remains as a regular member of the Dragon Team, but gradually becomes less active later in the series. Puar 普尔
（日文名：プーアル、英文名：PUARU）是日本经典漫画《龙珠》及其衍生动画《龙珠》《龙珠Z》《龙珠GT》《龙珠改》《龙珠超》等作品中的配角，该角色根据中国普洱茶命名，由渡边菜生子配音。动物型地球人、超能力者。曾与乌龙共同就读于南部变身幼稚园，后与雅木茶成为好伙伴，在沙漠中遇到寻找龙珠的孙悟空与布尔玛等人，并与其成为好朋友。
Pu'ar (プーアル, Pūaru), Puar in the Funimation anime dub, Pu-erh in their subtitles, and named Squeakers in the Harmony Gold dub, is a soft-spoken blue creature and Yamcha's companion. Puar's abilities consist of levitation and shapeshifting. He and Oolong went to the same shapeshifting school together, where he was constantly mocked by Oolong. When first introduced, he and Yamcha operate as bandits in a desert, where they encounter Goku, Bulma, and Oolong. At first they tail and assist the group in order to steal the Dragon Balls they are collecting, though they later reform and befriend the trio. When Goku transforms into a giant ape for the first time in the series, Puar transforms into a pair of scissors and cuts off his tail to turn him back to his regular state. Together with Upa, Puar defeats Dracula Man while competing in Baba Uranai's tournament. The character's name is a pun on pu'er tea and was designed to slightly resemble a cat.
Oolong 乌龙
乌龙（日文名：乌龙、英文名：Uron、又译：小八戒），日本漫画《龙珠》及其衍生作品中的角色。外型是一只小猪，动物型地球人。该角色根据《西游记》中的猪八戒为原型及中国茶叶乌龙茶命名
Oolong (ウーロン, Ūron), named Mao-Mao in the Harmony Gold dub, is a shapeshifting, anthropomorphic pig that uses his abilities for his greedy desires. He and Puar went to the same shapeshifting school together before he was expelled for stealing the teacher's panties; as such, he can only change his form for five minutes at a time, requiring a one-minute break afterwards. Oolong joins Goku and Bulma to search for the Dragon Balls and eventually steal them but abandons this plan. He makes the first shown wish with the Dragon Balls: a pair of panties. Oolong plays a minor role as the series progresses, where he is often in the company of Master Roshi.
Dende 丹迪

Gyū-Maō (牛魔王, lit "Ox Demon King"), known as Ox-King in the English anime dub, is the wealthy owner of a castle on Frypan Mountain (フライパン山, Furaipan-yama) and Chi-Chi's father. He is loosely based on the Bull Demon King from Journey to the West. He was trained in martial arts by Master Roshi alongside Goku's adoptive grandfather, Grandpa Gohan. Despite his imposing name and stature, he possesses a gentle and laid-back personality in contrast to Chi-Chi.

Shénlóng (神龍, Shenron, lit. "Dragon God"), Shenron in Funimation's anime dub, also known as the Eternal Dragon in the Ocean and Funimation dubs and as the Dragon God in the Harmony Gold dub, is the wish-granting dragon summoned when all seven of Earth's Dragon Balls are gathered together. Throughout the series, several rules on the Dragon Balls' use and limitations on Shenron's power are explained. After the wish is granted the balls scatter across the planet, turn to stone, are useless for a year, and cannot be detected by Bulma's Dragon Radar.

Bikini
Bikini (ビキニ) is the wife of Dr. Brief, the mother of Tights and Bulma, the mother-in-law of Vegeta, and the maternal grandmother of Trunks and Bulla. Bikini went unnamed in the original manga, anime and guidebooks, only ever being referred to as Bulma's mother (ブルマのママ Buruma no mama). In an interview, Toriyama noted that had he named her he probably would have gone with Panchy (パンチー Panchī), which was later used as her name in Dragon Ball SD.
King Kai 北界王

King Kai (界かい王おう様さま Kaiō-sama, lit. "King of Worlds") is the North Kai (北きたの界かい王おう Kita no Kaiō, lit. "North King of Worlds") and king of Universe 7's North Area. A comedy lover and brilliant mentor, he acts as Goku's Martial Arts teacher and instructs him in using the Kaio-ken and the Spirit Bomb. He later teaches Krillin, Yamcha, Tien Shinhan, Piccolo, and Chiaotzu and continues to act as a major supporting character throughout the majority of the series.
Bubbles 巴布魯斯

Bubbles (バブルス Baburusu) is the monkey pet and friend of King Kai. He serves a special purpose during King Kai's training lessons, particularly one of two endurance tests, where trainees are instructed to chase after Bubbles in an effort to catch him. Though the task may seem simple at first, there is a catch: the gravity on King Kai's Planet is ten times that of Earth, and Bubbles is perfectly used to it.
Mr. Satan 撒旦先生

Mr. Satan (ミスター・サタン Misutā Satan), also known as Hercule Satan in the Funimation dub, is the World Martial Arts Champion and the Earth's protector. His real name is Mark (マーク Māku). Mr. Satan is a tall man of a rather muscular and hairy physique and tends to adopt an imposing appearance when seen in public. His black curly Afro, mustache, and well-trimmed sideburns are among his most recognizable traits, as well as his cleft chin. Mr. Satan typically is seen in his martial arts uniform or in fitted suits but has been known to wear more luxurious clothing when resting or making public appearances. His gi is often accented with either a red or white cape depending on which gi he dons, and his notably hairy chest and arms are usually displayed openly. In the end of Dragon Ball Z and throughout Dragon Ball GT, his black curly afro is now in half as the center of his head is naturally bald and a few wrinkles due to his age. In his later years, his mustache now connects to his sideburns. In Dragon Ball Super, Mr. Satan's muscular physique has visibly weakened as a result of indulging in his fame over keeping up with his training, though he otherwise remains the same as his appearance in Dragon Ball Z.
Videl 比迪丽

Videl (ビーデル Bīderu) is the daughter of Mr. Satan and Miguel, the wife of Gohan and the mother of Pan. Initially, Videl is a headstrong, independent, fierce, tough and tomboyish girl who was raised with fame all around her where she is also feisty and stubborn, much like Chi-Chi. Videl is quite perceptive as she had doubts about her father's claims of defeating Cell and correctly deduced that Gohan was both the mysterious "Golden Fighter" and Great Saiyaman, as well as ultimately coming to suspect that Gohan was the boy who fought Cell Games. She was also crafty enough to get Gohan to accidentally reveal he was Great Saiyaman, which she uses to blackmail him.
Pilaf 皮拉夫

Pilaf (ピラフ, Pirafu), Emperor Pilaf in the English anime dub, is a small impish blue creature who is the leader of the Pilaf Gang (ピラフ一味, Pirafu Ichimi) and dreams of ruling the world. He seeks the Dragon Balls to wish for world domination together with his two minions.

Old Kai 老界王神
Old Kai (老界王神 Rō Kaiōshin, lit. "Old God of the Kings of the Worlds") is a Potara fusion between the Old Witch and the Supreme Kai of the fifteenth generation, though he is usually just referred to as Elder Kai, or Great Lord Kaioshin (大界王神 様 Dai Kaiōshin Sama, lit. "Great God of the Kings of the Worlds") in the Japanese anime. A lecherous but wise and mostly upstanding deity, he serves as an advisor to the current Supreme Kai and acts as an important supporting character throughout most of the series.

Motorcycle Police
A member of the Motorcycle Police Squad who makes a brief appearance in Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods. She observes the battle against the God of Destruction Beerus from afar and wonders if Capsule Corporation is using fireworks again when she sees an explosion cause by one of Vegeta's attacks on the God of Destruction. She is modeled after and voiced by the Olympic gold-medalist Kaori Matsumoto. In the Funimation dub of the film, she is voiced by Mary Elizabeth McGlynn.
Oracle Fish 预言鱼

The Oracle Fish (予言よげん魚うお Yogen-gyo) is a sapient blue fish that has prophetic powers. The Oracle Fish is a blue fish-like being that has a long body that resembles an Eel's. Despite the Oracle Fish's position as a wise Seer, most of the time she appears rather nonchalant and forgetful. She appears to love her food, as when Beerus threatens to cut her meals down each day, she panics and quickly wracks her brain to find the answer that Beerus wanted. In Age 739, the Oracle Fish informs the God of Destruction Beerus that in thirty-nine years, an arch-rival worthy of him would appear. After he tells Beerus of the prophecy, he goes to sleep for thirty-nine years.
Beerus' Planet
Beerus' Planet (ビルスの星 Birusu no Hoshi) with its primary location being Beerus' Castle (ビルスの城 Birusu no Shiro), is the home of the God of Destruction Beerus and his attendant Whis. Beerus' planet is in the living world, as opposed to the Other World, however it is located in another realm that is unreachable by normal standards. It is located at about 26 minutes from King Kai's Planet when Warping at ultra-high-speed, but the exact location of his planet in the universe is not shown. The lower part has a shape similar to a square pyramid flipped upside-down, and the top is made of a giant thick dead tree with a number of buildings on it. Several buildings of the temple are located on the giant tree. Living on around the temple are several kinds of animals, including birds and butterflies. Around the temple is a gigantic lake that includes several kinds of sea creatures, such as the Oracle Fish and a monster who looks similar to how Nessie is depicted in Dr. Slump and Oishii Shima no Ū-sama. There were also various moons around the temple, although they were destroyed by Beerus due to pain from ingesting wasabi sauce. During the events of the film, Beerus awakens from a long slumber and is visited by the mysterious Whis. He then leaves his planet and tracks down the warrior who defeated Frieza, a Saiyan named Goku. Whis takes on Vegeta and Goku as students of his and trains them here.
Whis 维斯
维斯，日本漫画家鸟山明著作《龙珠》系列中的男性角色，登场于《龙珠Z：神与神》《龙珠Z：复活的F》和《龙珠超》系列，是第7宇宙破坏神比鲁斯的仆人及武功师傅。他是大神官的儿子之一。作为神界中的天使，其真实实力强于破坏神。当其负责侍奉的神死了后，他作为天使也会功能停止，直到下一位破坏神的出现。
Whis (ウイス Uisu) is the Guide Angel Attendant of Universe 7's God of Destruction, Beerus, as well as his Martial Arts teacher. Along with the other angels, he is a child of the Grand Minister. Like all attendants, he is bound to the service of his deity and usually does not leave Beerus unaccompanied.
Beerus 比鲁斯
比鲁斯，日本漫画家鸟山明所著作漫画《龙珠》系列中的角色，登场于剧场版《龙珠Z：神与神》、剧场版《龙珠Z：复活的F》及动画/漫画《龙珠超》中。第7宇宙的破坏神，数年—数十年间一直保持沉睡，当要破坏星球的时候就会觉醒。觉醒期间会有一些星球遭殃，有时候也会找人代理。
Beerus (ビルス Birusu) is the God of Destruction of Universe 7. He is accompanied by his martial arts teacher and attendant, Whis. Beerus' twin brother is Champa, the God of Destruction of Universe 6. Beerus is the main antagonist of the Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods film and the God of Destruction Beerus Saga but becomes a supporting character in later sagas.
Dr. Briefs 布里夫博士

Android 18 (人じん造ぞう人にん間げん１８号ごう Jinzōningen Jū Hachi-Gō), originally named Lazuli (ラズリ Razuri) when she was an ordinary human, is the older twin sister of Android 17 and Dr. Gero's eighteenth android creation, designed to serve Gero's vendetta against Goku. While her interests do not initially deviate from this expectation, her curiosity to activate Android 16, in spite of Gero's orders not to do so, leads Android 17 to take it upon himself to rebel and murder Gero. Eventually, Android 18 becomes a member of the Z Fighters, as well as the wife of Krillin and the mother of their daughter Marron.
Trunks 特兰克斯

Son Goten (孫そん悟ご天てん Son Goten, Japanese pronunciation: [sõŋgotẽ̞ɴ]) is the youngest son of Goku and his wife Chi-Chi, making him a Saiyan and Earthling hybrid. Goten is Gohan's younger brother and Trunks' best friend.
Majin Buu 胖布欧
胖布欧 亦正亦邪，后期（纯粹善）。吸收了南界王神和大界王神后的形态。衣着与体型呈现的是大界王神的特征。之后被比比迪封印，但多年后被巴比迪利用孙悟空和贝吉塔战斗的能量唤醒。幼稚天真，知识与认知能力有限，贪吃贪玩，没有善恶的判断力与倾向，凭着单纯的取乐心态去战斗与破坏。因为与撒旦的相遇而开始改邪归正。将瘦布欧排斥出体外之后被对方反过来吸收。之后被贝吉塔在大布欧体内解除吸收，在界王神界被小布欧吐出体外，与小布欧搏斗不敌但争取了元气弹形成时间。原始布欧被消灭后，撒旦教会了他善与恶的衡量标准，改名为布欧先生，在撒旦家过着快乐的生活 。布欧可通过修炼提升实力同时会改变外型。
Good Buu (魔ま人じんブウ（善ぜん） Majin Bū (Zen), lit. "Demon Person Boo (Good)"), also known mainly as Majin Buu, is the result of the Innocent Buu using fission to split into good and evil halves. He would go on to become a member of the Z Fighters and live with Mr. Satan. After the battle against the pure Majin Buu, Buu is referred to as Buu instead of Majin Buu and to the world he becomes Mr. Buu. Good Buu possesses the Grand Supreme Kai (大だい界かい王おう神しん Dai Kaiōshin, lit. "Great God of the Kings of the Worlds*) as part of his being and eventually temporarily awakened this part of himself.

Mr. Satan (ミスター・サタン Misutā Satan), also known as Hercule Satan in the Funimation dub, is the World Martial Arts Champion and the Earth's protector. His real name is Mark (マーク Māku). Mr. Satan is a tall man of a rather muscular and hairy physique and tends to adopt an imposing appearance when seen in public. His black curly Afro, mustache, and well-trimmed sideburns are among his most recognizable traits, as well as his cleft chin. Mr. Satan typically is seen in his martial arts uniform or in fitted suits but has been known to wear more luxurious clothing when resting or making public appearances. His gi is often accented with either a red or white cape depending on which gi he dons, and his notably hairy chest and arms are usually displayed openly. In the end of Dragon Ball Z and throughout Dragon Ball GT, his black curly afro is now in half as the center of his head is naturally bald and a few wrinkles due to his age. In his later years, his mustache now connects to his sideburns. In Dragon Ball Super, Mr. Satan's muscular physique has visibly weakened as a result of indulging in his fame over keeping up with his training, though he otherwise remains the same as his appearance in Dragon Ball Z.

Gotenks (ゴテンクス Gotenkusu), previously known as Trunkten, is the immensely powerful fusion of Goten and Trunks successfully using the Fusion Dance, and the first successful fusion dance character to be seen in the Dragon Ball series. He likes to call himself, "The Hero of Justice", "Mack Daddy of Justice"', or "Grim Reaper of Justice". Gotenks is a fusion taught to Goten and Trunks by Goku and is later trained by Piccolo. He is one of the fusions performed through the use of the Fusion Dance technique. The dance is a special type of fusion ability, a connection through the fusees fingers. The fusees need to perform a special type of pose, then connect their index fingers evenly to produce a perfect fusion. He, like Gogeta, is summoned out of desperation to defeat powerful enemies. In Gotenks' case, this enemy is Majin Buu and later in the saga, he is to be used by Super Buu as his main power source when Gotenks is absorbed.
Videl 比迪丽
比迪丽（ビーデル、Videl），日本经典动漫《龙珠》及其衍生作品中的角色，撒旦先生的独生女。实力不错，为人有正义感，喜欢维护正义，时常帮助警察们捉贼和救人，后来机缘巧合结识青年孙悟饭，学会舞空术，并与悟饭相爱。在消灭魔人布欧不久后，嫁给了孙悟饭，生有一女小芳。
Videl (ビーデル Bīderu) is the daughter of Mr. Satan and Miguel, the wife of Gohan and the mother of Pan. Initially, Videl is a headstrong, independent, fierce, tough and tomboyish girl who was raised with fame all around her where she is also feisty and stubborn, much like Chi-Chi. Videl is quite perceptive as she had doubts about her father's claims of defeating Cell and correctly deduced that Gohan was both the mysterious "Golden Fighter" and Great Saiyaman, as well as ultimately coming to suspect that Gohan was the boy who fought Cell Games. She was also crafty enough to get Gohan to accidentally reveal he was Great Saiyaman, which she uses to blackmail him.
Pilaf 皮拉夫
皮拉夫（（ピラフ/Pilaf），肉饭之意（又译比拉夫、杂烩饭、炒饭大王 ），日本经典动漫《龙珠》及其衍生作品中的男性角色。是怪物型地球人，名字来自法文的“炒饭”，身材矮小，蓝色肌肤，带着一个小圆帽。 皮拉夫是小悟空真正意义上的第一个敌人，妄图搜集龙珠成为世界之王，为此多次与小悟空斗争，有阿修和小舞两个手下。
Pilaf (ピラフ, Pirafu), Emperor Pilaf in the English anime dub, is a small impish blue creature who is the leader of the Pilaf Gang (ピラフ一味, Pirafu Ichimi) and dreams of ruling the world. He seeks the Dragon Balls to wish for world domination together with his two minions.

Old Kai 老界王神
Old Kai (老界王神 Rō Kaiōshin, lit. "Old God of the Kings of the Worlds") is a Potara fusion between the Old Witch and the Supreme Kai of the fifteenth generation, though he is usually just referred to as Elder Kai, or Great Lord Kaioshin (大界王神 様 Dai Kaiōshin Sama, lit. "Great God of the Kings of the Worlds") in the Japanese anime. A lecherous but wise and mostly upstanding deity, he serves as an advisor to the current Supreme Kai and acts as an important supporting character throughout most of the series.

Motorcycle Police
A member of the Motorcycle Police Squad who makes a brief appearance in Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods. She observes the battle against the God of Destruction Beerus from afar and wonders if Capsule Corporation is using fireworks again when she sees an explosion cause by one of Vegeta's attacks on the God of Destruction. She is modeled after and voiced by the Olympic gold-medalist Kaori Matsumoto. In the Funimation dub of the film, she is voiced by Mary Elizabeth McGlynn.
Oracle Fish 预言鱼

The Oracle Fish (予言よげん魚うお Yogen-gyo) is a sapient blue fish that has prophetic powers. The Oracle Fish is a blue fish-like being that has a long body that resembles an Eel's. Despite the Oracle Fish's position as a wise Seer, most of the time she appears rather nonchalant and forgetful. She appears to love her food, as when Beerus threatens to cut her meals down each day, she panics and quickly wracks her brain to find the answer that Beerus wanted. In Age 739, the Oracle Fish informs the God of Destruction Beerus that in thirty-nine years, an arch-rival worthy of him would appear. After he tells Beerus of the prophecy, he goes to sleep for thirty-nine years.
Beerus' Planet
Beerus' Planet (ビルスの星 Birusu no Hoshi) with its primary location being Beerus' Castle (ビルスの城 Birusu no Shiro), is the home of the God of Destruction Beerus and his attendant Whis. Beerus' planet is in the living world, as opposed to the Other World, however it is located in another realm that is unreachable by normal standards. It is located at about 26 minutes from King Kai's Planet when Warping at ultra-high-speed, but the exact location of his planet in the universe is not shown. The lower part has a shape similar to a square pyramid flipped upside-down, and the top is made of a giant thick dead tree with a number of buildings on it. Several buildings of the temple are located on the giant tree. Living on around the temple are several kinds of animals, including birds and butterflies. Around the temple is a gigantic lake that includes several kinds of sea creatures, such as the Oracle Fish and a monster who looks similar to how Nessie is depicted in Dr. Slump and Oishii Shima no Ū-sama. There were also various moons around the temple, although they were destroyed by Beerus due to pain from ingesting wasabi sauce. During the events of the film, Beerus awakens from a long slumber and is visited by the mysterious Whis. He then leaves his planet and tracks down the warrior who defeated Frieza, a Saiyan named Goku. Whis takes on Vegeta and Goku as students of his and trains them here.
Whis 维斯
维斯，日本漫画家鸟山明著作《龙珠》系列中的男性角色，登场于《龙珠Z：神与神》《龙珠Z：复活的F》和《龙珠超》系列，是第7宇宙破坏神比鲁斯的仆人及武功师傅。他是大神官的儿子之一。作为神界中的天使，其真实实力强于破坏神。当其负责侍奉的神死了后，他作为天使也会功能停止，直到下一位破坏神的出现。
Whis (ウイス Uisu) is the Guide Angel Attendant of Universe 7's God of Destruction, Beerus, as well as his Martial Arts teacher. Along with the other angels, he is a child of the Grand Minister. Like all attendants, he is bound to the service of his deity and usually does not leave Beerus unaccompanied.

Beerus (ビルス Birusu) is the God of Destruction of Universe 7. He is accompanied by his martial arts teacher and attendant, Whis. Beerus' twin brother is Champa, the God of Destruction of Universe 6. Beerus is the main antagonist of the Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods film and the God of Destruction Beerus Saga but becomes a supporting character in later sagas.
